ABOUT ME
Oh hey there,
I’m Inge, a blogger based in Virginia’s beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, writing about triathlon, Jesus, motherhood, and how those three things can fit together quite well.
Blog posts
You wouldn’t think there would be so many adventures in a small town. Come take a peek at what my life is like as a lover of Jesus, mom, triathlete, raiser of chickens, part time employee, and full time wrangler of family chaos.
Where I live
I live in the mountains and I call it the pseudo-country because we’re surrounded by farms, fields, cows and wildlife. But my family isn’t actually all that country. We do live on several acres and raise chickens, the kids might run a little wild sometimes, but for the most part we’re city folks who are learning what it’s like to have cows as neighbors and to hear coyotes howl all night.
About me
I started life as an athlete and once I got married and had kids I thought that was the end of my competitive days. After a few years I realized working out wasn’t just for weight loss and I could incorporate my love for sports into my love of motherhood. Then I learned professional triathlon is a thing and my goal is to advance to that level. I want to take the world of pro triathlon by storm. This blog is how I’m going to document that journey.
