Union is a great place for young Christians. I had the privilege of being a collegiate athlete and really enjoyed my time at Union. The professors are awesome and the small class size really helps everyone get to know each other. I met some of my best friends and got plug into many different areas on campus.
Union University is a Christian PWI and you noticed that as soon as you step foot on campus. There was not much diversity and many of the students seemed to have come from backgrounds that were not very diverse as well. This lead to many feelings of isolation on campus, Myself, and other black students, were not treated very well, granted this was 2016 right after election. If you're looking for diversity, this is not the school for you. However, I did receive quality instruction through their education program and felt well equipped after graduating to enter the classroom. To be quite honest, if you're looking for a college where learning is the priority, Union would be a great spot for you. However, if you want a true college experience, I'd consider another school.
This university truly cares for its students. They will know you by name and push you to excellence. When they say they are excellence-driven and people-focused they mean it. You will feel part of something bigger here.
My experience at Union has been really good. Like any experience over the course of three years, you notice things you like as well as noticing things you cannot stand. My favorite part of Union has been the people I'm surrounded by. Union attracts many different types of people, and its been a joy getting to meet people and make strong connections with a wide variety of people. I really enjoy the way most of my teachers teach, they focus on the material while also being engaging and wanting to connect with us at a deep level.
One thing Union could really work on is their residence life program. All the friends I've made at Union have been apart from Res Life. I think they need to step their game up and engage students more in a much less engineered fashion. All their events are uninteresting and feel forced.

I am having an excellent experience at Union! I love how connected all the students are, there is such a sense of community especially when it comes to supporting the athletic teams.
Union University is a Southern Baptist affiliated school with an emphasis on placed on building a relationship with God and a rigorous academic workload. Union requires full commitment to academic endeavors if you want to succeed. The class sizes are small, so interactions and relationships with professors is very assessable. Union is home to a nationally ranked girls basketball team and home to other sports such as baseball, softball, cross country, golf, and soccer. Intermurals and Greek life are a big part of the student life for the average student attending Union. Campus and Facilities are in prestine condition and are constantly being updated and upgraded. Not your traditional college expirence, but if you're looking for a second to none education, look no place other than Union University.
I loved the opportunities to get involved and serve others on campus and in the community! I also enjoyed getting to know some of the professors on a personal basis, due in part to an event the school did every spring where professors would host a small number of students for dinner in their home. The faculty and staff were wonderful!
I would love to see more leadership courses in the business department! Even as a business major, there was only one class I took that really addressed how to lead and deal with people; most of my learning in that area occurred after graduation in the workplace.

Union is a Christian college so there isn’t a lot of partying. The professors are wonderful, fully invested in their students and wanting to make sure they understand the content. I play softball and love playing! The professors work well with the student athletes and their schedules. There is constantly activities going on around campus for students and plenty of opportunities to get involved.
So far my classes haven’t been too bad and the professors have been super nice! Most classes are easy besides the art courses, but they really care about your learning and improvement! Since I save money from living off campus I can’t really say much about the food, living, or life on campus. The only thing I would like more at Union is the diversity. You have some but very few different ethnicities, which is sad because I am Hispanics. :,( Overall, this semester has been great! I’m starting to get used to it now!
I really enjoy Union. It is a great college to find yourself in many different ways including finding your faith. It is a great place to build on your social skills through your classes and on campus activities. There is always something for someone to do and it is very easy to get involved. Union has an amazing atmosphere and amazing people. Everyone can find a home here.
I have loved my experience at Union. I love how invested my professors are in helping me achieve my goals. I also love the atmosphere here - everyone is genuinely so sweet and caring. Its evident that people genuinely care about one another, even if they don't know each other on a very personal level.
This is the worst school ever. The teachers were all very old and not helpful and the environment was even worst.
It was a very positive experience. The faculty were available for questions if need be and for the most part they communicated well. The community of students felt very positive and decently unified.
Union University is an excellent school!! It has an overwhelmingly positive Christian atmosphere, most of the professors are reliable, the food is actually good and had variety every day of the week and the dorms give all the privacy a college individual could want, all while encouraging a community based environment that can keep you engaged through anything.
There are Great teachers! I can operate on my own time with my studies. The programs all online. The administration is extremely helpful.
As a high school senior and dual enrollment student at Union University, my professors have been helpful, encouraging and kind as I transition from high school to college level work.
Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good. Good.
I absolutely love my school! At Union, the students are surrounded by loving professors, caring peers, and strong academic challenges! Union's core values are Future Directed, People Focused, Excellence Driven, and Christ Centered and this university truly embodies those values! I love how connected the professors are with the students. They make every individual feel like a part of their own family! One thing I wish would change would be accessibility to scholarships.
I love Union. It has a very nice campus yet is still small enough to where everyone knows everyone. Almost all the teachers are amazing and are willing to help you. The student life is also pretty good. There are always activities that we can do. However, the tuition for this school is ungodly. They are also not that willing to help you lower your bill or give you more scholarships.
I was a nursing student. It was alright, but every time you check your bill, they forget to take off your book bundle. The nursing department does not communicate with the bookstore for some reason. Faculties are nice and helpful but there are some that are very terrible. You just need to learn how to study on your own. They also do not communicate with their clinical instructors. Schedules get messed up many times. Your responsibility to catch up. They will not hesitate to fail you if you make a single mistake. Just be very careful if you decide to go this school for nursing.
