Date visited: Feb 29, 2024 If you want to have a close encounter or touch the relic, expect that there’s a line. You are not allowed to take a picture inside and it’s always secured. The basilica’s rich history and stunning structure makes it great to visit. They have a dress code and you can’t enter the premises easily.

This has been the most wonderful religious experience that I had, to others this might just be a church but for me this is a place where you can rest your soul and shout your prayers! Every detail has been very extraordinary and heart melting ❤ I do highly recommend visiting this church 😭❤

A must visit when in Cebu. You can visit Sto Nino and the church is beautiful. During sunday expect a big crowd but a good thing you can join the Church mass.

2nd time here. The 1st time we went here was holy week, so wala masyado tao, hence the peacefulness. 2nd time we went back, jampacked. Parang nawala yung solemnity ng place. Aesthetics-wise, maganda pa rin yung lugar. The area for lighting candles for offering prayers is still my favorite part. The ceiling of the church have been painted with the story of how Christianity started in the Philippines.

Beautiful church, and definitely must visit. There are a lot of women selling tall candles. I wouldn’t recommend buying from them as they will dance and pray for your safety. Which is not necessary. My tour guide mentioned there are good and bad people around so becareful of your belongings. Removed all your jewellery and put your bag in front of your body. However the church itself is beautiful and would definitely recommend a good 15-30mins to visit.

The core of what is Cebu is known about. Regardless of your religious affiliation, you will be amazed how the church was built and restored over the years. Aside from the church itself, there is a museum like room that narrates the history of the church, from the year 1521 that Ferdinand Magellan was believed to set foot in Cebu until 2023 where Sinulog was reinstated after the hiatus because of the pandemic. The room where Sto Nino was kept is open for viewing and where you can offer a prayer or pay respect. Take note that taking picture of the said room is prohibited.

Even if its on a Wednesday, there are still a lot of people coming in this place. We often visit this place with my friends, family, and loved ones, but I'm visiting this place today with just me.

The convent and the Church of the Sto. Niño de Cebu was founded by Fr. Andres de Urdaneta on April 28, 1565 , the very day the Legazpi-Urdaneta expedition arrived in the island. On May 8 of the same year, when Legaspi and his men planned the urbanization of the city, they allotted a “place for the church and the convent of San Agustin, “where the Santo Niño image had been found.”

I am not a religious person so went purely as a tourist. A nice church and also very historic. Worth visiting if you are in Cebu. Gets busy on a Saturday so if you are visiting go in the weekday if possible. The area around the church is also interesting, a bit on the gritty side but a contrast to the modern areas of the city.

Very well maintained and curated church. As most Catholic Churches they demand respect and certain dressing code. Entry is free and completely worth it if you are in the area. You can find many colonial traits and references throughout the church. It’s not only a great religious bulging but historic too.

A very historical and touristy spot. The church is old and well taken cared of. Don’t forget to visit the church when you are in Cebu. Try other tourist spots nearby too like the museums and the ports.

This historical church is a perfect spot for families and tourists to worship; it's within walking distance of colon street and other tourist attractions like the plaza, national museum, and Magellan's Cross. There's also a candle area and a water fountain next to the church. Outside the basilica, there are many vendors selling food and candles.

The experience was great! If you are tired of roaming the streets of cebu city they have a foot massage and body massage near the entrance (if you came from magellans cross) 😊 over all cebu city is a nice place for a quick getaway!🥰

located just beside the magellans cross is the sto. niño church. this church attracts a lot of tourist and devotees at the same time. you can offer your sincere prayers here. i was also amazed at how most of the area was open to people even their small garden at the back. there were also painting hang on the wall but i found it sad bc it was bit washed out and probably not very well taken care of / preserved.

Good place to rent for a bike and explore the island with friends – especially if you'd want to be able to freely ride without fear of other cars and traffic jams like in the main city. It was affected recently by the typhoon Odette and some of the iconic spots such as the boardwalk are close and being renovated. There are food options along the road but don't expect too much especially since this is just a nature island - not that much establishments. Fare for the ferry is affordable, tricycle rides tho could be quite pricey. But overall enjoyed the experience of biking and sightseeing nature. 💚🍃

The place is beautiful for an epic adventure like swimming snorkeling camping diving and most of all touring the Island on land with a Bicycling and to help reduce a carbon foot prints.👌During weekends they have a local band rocking up at the top of boardwalk shed. The place is super relaxing. The crew's are accomodating and friendly staffs as well. Very responsive messages from the host in San Vicente Marine Sanctuary. If you guys like me not fond in a crowds so preferrably weekdays is a must to visit since only few tourists came out there. Lastly dont forget to stop over in RJC Cafe shop a few meters away from San Vicente Sanctuary. Actually Olango Island has a lot to offer from wildlife to natures so try to be a wanderer to the Island and you will discover more. 😀👌 Have a safe travel to everyone and enjoy.👌

A nice place to unwind and be with nature. If you want to enjoy th island , you better stay there for at least 3 Days and explore more of the beautiful views and hospitable people.

This is the first time I went to this place and I love that I saw mangroves personally, and we planted some seeds of it as part of our activity in place. The place is so beautiful, like you can breathe the fresh air and it can remove your stress. I want to explore the place more but I don't have a chance. This is the best place that I saw so far as a nature lover. I hope I can visit it again. The next big thing in Cebu. 😊

Beautiful Island with lots of Mangroves. Inside there is a wildlife sanctuary but only can see birds. There is no any place to buy even water inside the island. Need to take a bumpy boat ride from Lapulapu to reach the Olango island and the last return boat is usually crowded.

A must visit place for solo or by a group just to escape the city's stressful life and to experience a beautiful paradise within a few miles on the city.

The place has peaceful feel, but the people I met were awful. I wanted to rent a bicycle. I heard the owner rent to others at ₱10/hour, but she insisted that price is ₱25/hour. Bicycle condition is bad as well. Wanted to visit the bird sanctuary. Paid a local for bringing me to bird sanctuary, but end up he brought me to marine sanctuary, and said if I wanted to go bird sanctuary he will charge me separately. No beach on this island.

A perfect place to cool down during hot days and best for looking an adventures! The water is super cold, its good idea to bring with you a good foods. However, this falls is kind of overrated and overused by the tourists, i can feel Kawasan is kind of exhausted of serving huge number of people every single day, but good thing, pandemic gives it a chance to recover!

Falls is amazing even areas are some’s broken the beauty on that place still full of nature and wonderful green trees to see. Cold water and cool to relax 😌 we been there with family. Just walk in out there easy and breezy.

What a day!! The Kawasan Waterfalls are surreal, the water is so blue and if you’re doing to canyoneering then you’ll get to jump off of a lot of rocks. It’s so much fun and not overrated at all! Go do it :)

very cool, fun, and almost all day, it would be hard for kids to think walking in the canyon, very cool experience.Unfortunately, I did not find information on whether it is possible to get there on my own without buying a tour, they did not tell me the real price for entry. I advise you to take a waterproof camera, a waterproof bag, and some snacks. Barbecues in the canyon itself cost about 50 pesos.

Once you're here, it's obvious why everybody tells you to visit. The place is gorgeous, serene, and just wonderful to explore. You MUST swim to get through the whole thing, and be ready to jump into deep water with a life vest. At the halfway point is a rest area with food stands. Food is cheap too, but you pay at the end of the trip. Highly recommend going here

Definitely recommend for first time visit to Cebu. It was my first time doing canyoneering (aka River trekking) , the instructors were extremely helpful and helped us take pictures. But be mindful to take some really good waterproof shoes with good cushion because there’s a lot of rocks on the surface of the river and it’s a bit intense

Getting to the Kawasan Falls was an adventure in itself. We were fortunate to get here because it just reopened recently after the devastation caused by Typhoone Odette. The trek was moderately challenging, but the well-maintained trails and helpful guides made the journey enjoyable. Although it required some effort, the payoff of witnessing the majestic waterfall made it all worthwhile.

Amazing place for relaxation and nature however u pay only for one waterfall and cannot access all of them unless you Paul 2100 which I think it's unfair for tourists

We definitely fell in love with Kawasan falls for its scenic view and turquoise water. On our first visit in 2016, we hired a tour guide and charged us P100 per waterfalls. It's just easy to follow the trail going to every Waterfalls but it is also nice to get a tour guide(to take pictures of you both) It sad to see the feedback from the foreigners. Hope the Dept. of Tourism in Cebu will regulate the fees to stop taking advantage of tourists esp the foreigners. Not a good image for us, right?

Did a canyoneering tour here during our travels and it is one of my favourite days so far! Was so much fun and such a positive atmosphere we loved it. Would recommend doing it with a tour as we felt a lot safer.

I must say that it was truly one of its kind and a lifetime experience. The adventure lovers must do this activity as it is full of fun and thrills. It was kind of a natural waterpark with crystal clear lagoons and numerous mighty waterfalls. The tour guides are very helpful and they will take care of you for the entire trek. You can book this trip from any hotel or hostel from Moalboal and they will charge you around 1300 pesos for each person which is totally worth it. I would highly recommend this activity for travellers visiting Cebu.

We came with action pro adventures, very professional guide and very honest people. The whole canyoneering trip was nothing like I've ever experienced before, it was so much fun! There are lots of people and can get very crowded, you'll need to queue to make certain jumps, I'd recommend to come as early as possible.

The best canyoning I ever had last February 3,2023. The guide was nice excellent photographer and videography. He was very accommodating and always kept us safe.

We did the canyoning excursion which cost around $55. We had 2 guides that escorted us through the river rapids with encouraging photo shoot opportunities. One of the older guys at the end was disappointed in only getting $20 tip between the two of them which kind of ruined the whole experience

During our visit to Kawasan Falls in Badian, my friends and I had an incredible time. The falls were breathtaking, and the crystal-clear water was truly refreshing. Our guide was incredibly helpful, and we managed to capture many memorable moments in photos. It was a fantastic time spent with friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it.

It was a 10 to 15 min walk, light trecking with roads already concrete yo make it easier, there are free usable life vest and safety line along the deepest section under the falls for safety, there are life guards too and the water was cool and clean.. one of the best outdoor adventure in.cebu

Great waterfall. Unfortunately it is now open for 1 level instead of 3. They made it a tourist attraction and they give you a briefing about the rules. Swimming here was nice. We didn’t do canyoneering. Entrance was paid.

May 17th, 2022 First off. Being a foreigner myself. I always look forward to visiting this mall. It brings back so many memories from our visit 4 years ago. The places changed a bit. But the people are always so welcoming and inviting. With the hurricane that hit the Philippines each area and stores were affected by it. So definitely patient is needed when driving to this location. Street closures are going on to try and restore some things like before and even better. This is a great place if shopping is on your mind. Shops galore. Not just for the ladies but men as well. Lots and lots of stores.

Yeah Ayala Center Cebu is definitely one of the best shopping centers in the entire city you're going to find hundreds of big department stores as well as many different restaurants and cafés to choose from they also have a great terrace and a beautiful park area where you can lounge around and enjoy the afternoon sun. It is also located right next to many other attractions such as the Sugbo Mercado which is also a great place to hang out on the weekends and they also do you have a large grocery store down below in case you need to purchase any water food or other items to take back home with you.

This, for more me, a very big mall may be normal for some, and there's no chance you will go hungry or thirsty as there's many to choose from. There is a very wide range of shops and a very clean and safe place to visit as at every entrance to the mall are metal detectors and guards who are very polite and helpful.

One of the best mall I have been to in the Philippines. Not too busy, clean, plenty of food and shopping options and has a huge garden area. Glad I booked a hotel near here.

A nice enough mall with lots of great stores but I did not care for the crazy layout and design of the mall, making it extremely difficult to navigate around the mall while trying to find various stores! I have been to lots of malls, and on my very first visit, I quickly found everything I was looking for BUT this mall, Ayala Center, had such a confusing design and layout, it was difficult to determine which areas I had already been to and which way I needed to go. Even asking directions from mall security, they had conflicting answers about where to find various stores!

It's a beautiful mall that will fill all your needs even right after a level 5 typhoon. The grocery store was fully stocked except for water, water was hard to find anywhere.

This place is amazing. You likely won’t need to make a special trip as it’s close to a lot of hotels and has everything you need. So as soon as you want something (phone, coffee, ice cream, etc.) Come check out this beautiful mall. The outdoor section is cool at night as well. Ideally you can see both night and day.

Really lovely place to explore the many shops, get a prescription filled, buy a television or mobile, get a coffee or a snack, full dinner or take away from a bakery. It is huge city takes ages to understand the layout and the concierge near the main circle where the lifts are can be very useful. A few maps of the store locations scattered about would be a very helpful addition.

Huge mall with a lot of stores for shopping, dining and services. It is located conveniently at the heart of the city, and within a business district. Has several mall entrances from different streets. It has a nice park called Terraces where you can just chill and hang out.

Wow, this place is big clean and there is a massive variety of shops, probably the biggest Mall I have ever been in. Safe as there are security guards at every entrance. Highly recommended a visit. Spent too much money 💰

Great shopping center nice gardens and really nice variety of restaurants however the supermarket service is pitiful counted 12 staff standing around talking to themselves no service until I asked maybe because I raised my voice a bit then it took 5 minutes for them to open counter so I could see item the only reason I stayed was because I was waiting on a refund that took 20 minutes oh well it is a nice shopping center

Big and upscale mall with very impressive supermarkets and eateries, restaurants other than the usual that you can find in other malls. Price wise is a little bit higher. You can find food court and many different restaurants on the 4th floor. Highly recommended!

Great experience, the interior and exterior of its establishment is best. Many scenic locations to take pictures. I love how the guards welcome the customers inside and outside the mall. Would visit here again with my friends soon.

Ayala Center Cebu has an open park , allows people to enjoy sitting under really big trees which were fabulously decorated with lights. December cool nights are enjoyable with classic traditional Christmas songs playing in the background, making new memories . Simple, yet elegant experience.

It was great to relax listening to the Christmas music enjoying a drink and eating Italian food. It would have been better with live music but it was free entertainment.

It is undoubtedly a beautiful place to visit. There are no bridges to the island, so you must go by sea.

While it is very pretty with clear waters, we found it to be expensive and crowded. 1500 peso for the boat ride for 2, 200 pesos to swim (plus; additional cost for the tuk-tuk ride there). We rented snorkeling gear at the takeoff point but then you had to pay for a guide to snorkel in the deeper area and we decided not to pay more. We'd read there was hiking and caves but there isn't as you walk up the steps that's to the resort and they won't let you pass. Overall, don't think it was worth it with all the other beautiful beaches in the Philippines. The sand bar at Virgin island was much better.

There is no space to lie down, as 99% of the island is owned by the hotel

The trip going to the island in included in our tour package. Love the boat ride. The sand is so white and waters very clear. Its not that crowded during weekdays. The area is small but beautiful. This is a must see when in Cebu. Bring drinks and snack. Also sun protection since no shade in the swimming area.

We enjoyed coming here for a short time :) Sand is very white and although the sandbar is not visible when we came, we still enjoyed the beach and the view. Well kept and maintained. The briefing before you go to the island is very helpful

The water is crystal clear and the view is amazing.. What I don't like was that there were a lot of white aphid looking insects flying around the beach and the water too! We also saw little jelly fishes swimming near to the sand bar. It was also overcrowded. Going there was already included in our package tour and we only spent an hour of swimming there. You can do snorkeling which I think is great but you need more time to really enjoy it.

The water is really nice and you can see many fishes, however the beach is small so in crowded days there is a risk to do not enjoy it. You cannot buy food or drinks so make it sure to buy it in advance

Beautiful island, cost about 1000 peso for 2 pax return ticket. if you happen to go for whale watching, dont go back to your hostel/hotel first! head to this island and then head back to the city. Nothing much to do here, but its a not bad place to just chill..

Sumilon Island is one of the best Ive ever been to. Water is clear and the snorkeling area is divirsed. Prices of boat rentals and tour guides are regulated. Too bad it was high tide when we visited. Was not able to see the sand bar in the middle of the beach.

Tops lookout (under renovation since Oct 21, 2022) 🌃 not a good place to visit on a weekend, people were annoyingly loud (chika, inom, with bluetooth speaker blasting party music) 🥴 should’ve went here during sunrise 🥲

The place is great! If, by chance you're planning to get here at night time, I strongly suggest wearing a jacket for those who aren't used to the cold breeze. Day view is great but nothing can compare the overlooking view at night. The only downside is, if you come here by riding the bus they have their own schedule. Unfortunately, I was not able to ask if they have recently changed their bus schedule to 24 hour service. To be safe, it is best to ride the bus before 11PM due to the limited number of buses they have. The place is open 24/7. You won't have any issues if you have your own ride. You have a limited number of food choices for now. Since the construction of the building is still being completed. Most of the shops are on the ground floor.

Food and drinks are bit expensive. Also, there are limited options. Please add some more stalls. View is majestic esp at night. It's a bit cold up there so it's a great place to chill and unwind. Entrance fee is PhP 100.00 and area has a large parking space which is a plus. I think it's worth it. I've had fun watching the city lights.

It was an amazing experience, i went to the old tops before and it's my first time to see the renovated one today, I would say the new one is better,wider and there are many different kinds of restaurants so you can have a bite if you are hungry, another good thing is you can bring your own food if you want to not really spend too much on the food there because actually we tried eating there but it was a bit pricey so up to you but overall the experience was really awesome, the place/view is picturesque and I believe i will go there again soon with my friends❤️❤️❤️

Its ideal to go there late in the afternoon and see the sun set then wait for the sky to go dark to see the lights in the city. We did not wait too long for the bus, going and from Tops. We went on a public holiday and more people arrived around 5pm. There was a line going in to get stamped. As it is still not fully opened yet (as of Mar. 28), some shops are on kiosks and have limited menu and seats. Will hopefully be back once everything is in place and with more shops.

May 7th, 2022 What a awesome view. You can see forever. From the edge of Cebu, Cebu City, Mactan Island, South Cebu and a part of North Cebu. Perfect place for the first time visitor. Being a foreigner myself this was my virgin visit to here. But it was incredible to see. Another must see, make sure you or your driver can make the drive up. The terrain going up is somewhat steep. But definitely worth it. Face masks were required when entering due to the Covid Outbreak.

Such a great place to relax. The city lights is so refreshing and relaxing. A best place to have a date with your love ones. The only downside is the entrance fee which is a hundred peso, it's a little bit pricey cuz inside there's only one establishment (restaurant) which is also pricey. All in all, it's a great place to stay if you want to be away from city and to chill.

We went to Tops Cebu last AUG 24, 2022, Entrance fee is ₱100/person. The sun is high around 2:30pm, no other tourist during the time we went so we enjoyed taking pictures. The place is clean and has a nice view. The place is 24hrs open so its your choice if you want to go during day or night time.

This is a good place for photos of Cebu from above. But really other than that there is nothing here.. other than taking pics and at P100 a person it's a bit much really .. but ok is very good views. Note toilet was clean.. so if you need a high place to have a wee.. maybe the place to go! 😁😜

It was closed for renovations and looking a mess. Only the La Parisienne restaurant is open but it's only a small viewing area and crowded. Entrance to restaurant is 200p per head. Strange to have an entrance fee for a restaurant but at least it was consumable. Better to wait until the Lookout area is open again.

The view was nice since we visited by night (will try a daytime visit soon). There were a couple of resto present so far by visit and the prices here are not so expensive but not so affordable (which is understandable). The experience was great, the place was kept clean and tidy. Staff were warm and welcoming, and I have seen people of all ages, and dogs too, enjoying the calm and cold place like this. Will recommend it to those who will visit Cebu!

We went to my friend last March. It was windy and cold during at night. The city lights are impressive. The toilets are clean. Foods are available on the ground floor. The second and third flood is still constucting. They allowed to bring outside foods (no drinks) and mats. There is an entrance and parking fee. Of course, souvenir items like city lights' shirt and a jacket with hood are available on their shop. Looking forward to the love lock (which is available already on the shop but the third or fourth floor is still constructing, as mentioned by the shop lady -where the love lock place).

A very amazing overlooking view of Cebu City. Make sure to bring your jackets because the place is very cold. Dami ring tao, there's not much you can do on the place actually, just the overlooking view. The 100 entrance fee is not that worthy tbh.

Amazing Views of Cebu City, I definitely recommend going on Sunset and during the weekdays, if possible, it gets busy on the weekends. Will be great to see it when construction is finished. We enjoyed a pizza from Queens Pizza and it was the best Pizza I've had in Cebu, Shrimp and garlic was delicious!! I used both my drones to take some nice footage, video attached. So if you have a drone, bring it along, as they are fine with you flying it there.

A surprisingly beautiful place to visit when you’re in Cebu City. It’s full of history and will transport you back in time. There’s a paid tour, whether by a guide or through an app/tablet (?). We got the tour guide version which we really enjoyed. It’s a must-visit place for museum enthusiasts.

It is a really nice Museum with a guided tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and coupled with the video they showed us about the place for historical background, I got a better understanding of the house. There is a souvenir shop and Cafe at the end. Restrooms can be found there as well. I also liked the complimentary souvenir they give you when paying the entrance fee.

Took us back to the simple times. The house was way more than just the aesthetic of its rooms and entrance. It tells you a story of a life lived in contentment. Personally, I love the bathroom and kitchen area!

We revisited Casa Gorordo because they had a free entrance day. I visit regularly and so I kind of memorized whats on display inside the museum. But I still come here often because I can pretend Im a rich Cebuana and the museum is my house.

Very well-kept & organized museum house. Stepping inside seemed like I travelled back to the Spanish era. The local guide I s very well-versed and using an interactive wall, I got to see the old Cebu and the planning/arrangement in different eras of Philippine history. The memorabilia is well-kept and we enjoyed going through the different rooms in the class/house. The tour ends in the museum shop where you can buy souvenirs & Cebu food items.

I went here for a school project and asked if we could film. unfortunately, we weren't allowed to film inside the house but we were allowed to film the outside which was fair. Tour guides were very friendly and approachable, they were very professional and really knows a lot about the history of the house. There's also a cafe opening soon on November, I believe it's Bo's coffee.

Well maintained and curated. The staff were super helpful. Would recommend the guided tour to get more in depth history. Absolutely fascinating. Worthwhile trip to learn more about Filipino history. Not long either. Can be easily done in 20 to 30 minutes.

They upgraded their tour now with tablets! I still remember way back 2018 that we have a tour guide but it doesn't matter since it makes our tour better with tablets. Made upgrades also on other parts but not changing the structure so it made me more mesmerized than before! Kudos also to the staffs that are very accommodating too!

Be forewarn of the coral has been destroyed after typhoon Ursula. Now it was just couple of rebars at the murky bottom to attempt to grow some corals. No Dory and Nemo down here. Be sure to check with the locals before renting a bangka here

Ive been snorkling to Boracay, Bohol, Bantayan, Camuigin and more, but this is the best snorkling experience I had. You can see the beautiful paradise under the sea here. 🌊 that feeling that you dont want to leave the island. Trully recommended and a must snorkling in Moalboal. My camera cannot capture the real beauty of the place, so magical and colorful, I hope they can preserve this beauty and hopefully the corals are safe when I can come back.

This place is a very good snorkeling place. My and my family had gone and do snorkeling to this area. We saw a lot of things like the sea turtle that are very huge and amazing fishes and a school of fishes swimming around under the sea. However while we are swimming around the area. We got itchy and and got a lot of red marks around our skins. Because as we don't know that there are jellyfishes that are swimming around the water. Hence, it is quite difficult to swim due to the jellyfish stings. But, overall my experience here is great

This place provided me such wonderful experience. The locals were so friendly, guides were considerate and very helpful. I love the part when the local tourism provided a mini orientation about the place, they oriented us about do's and don'ts during the snorkeling; they encouraged us to not only enjoy the place but to help them preserve the beauty of it, tourists are prohibited to touch any creatures during the snorkeling and even during the turtle viewing. I felt safe when we were riding the boats going to Pescador Island, guides were strict about tourists wearing life jackets. The view was exhilarating, approaching the small island bring exuberance and thrill. When we reached the place, local guides reminded us of safety protocols, they were with us while we were enjoying the underwater view, it felt safer knowing they were there watching us. Guides did not only kept us safe, they were giving us tips on how to do snorkeling more fun. As a first timer, I really enjoyed the experience, I know all of the tourist there did. By the way, you can rent an underwater camera to the local guides if you don't have one, and please do rent one, those guides were the reason why I have such awesome underwater photos, they were the ones who took it. Amazing.

Sardines and turtles are amazing. The tourist is professional, they not only monitor carefully to ensure safety but also help us take best photos and records. Unforgettable moments!

Terrible place to do snorkeling. Way too many jelly fishes. The bottom of the sea is super average and the shore as better view. They charge you 1000 php to get there + sardine run and tortoise watch. Those can be done by yourself for 100 php from the shore. Big rip off

*Visited May 2020* A nice little island that you can snorkel around and see all the different types of coral. There are quote a few fish around including 'Dory' & Parrot fish. We were taken acrossto the island on a small boat and stayed there for about 20 minutes exploring. The sea is beautiful and clear. But we did not go on the island itself as there wasn't any access to be able to do this. There has been known to be turtles but we didn't see any here.

The corals and colorful fishes to enjoy. There are different sites to check out. Take your time and enjoy the beauty.

A beautiful waterfall with a great swimming hole. Lots of people around, but the place didn’t feel crowded. A short walk down (and up) from the road, with motorcycles to ferry you if you don’t feel like walking 15 mins each way. There is a pool with fish that nibble your toes when you dip them in the water.

Nice waterfall and not crowded. Water is very clear. Get your feet in and have little fishes clear them off dead skin. The walk up the hill is a bit of a climb, but it's definitely worth it.

We enjoyed our short awesome vacation. If you like to experience going downhill and uphill, just like an exercise, go to Tumalog Waterfalls. The water is so cold and refreshing.

Tumalog Falls is undeniably pretty, but my experience left me with mixed feelings. The falls are beautifully crafted for tourism, but the overwhelming tourist infrastructure takes away from the natural charm. The site seems more designed for mass tourism rather than preserving the uniqueness of the falls. While it's worth a visit for the picturesque scenery, if you're seeking a more authentic and less commercialized waterfall experience, you might want to explore less tourist-centric options in the area.

One of the best place to visit in Cebu. :) one of the best falls I visit . The water is so clear and the people are so friendly. It’s so refreshing and very relaxing. . We will definitely go back again. I can say I love Cebu. 😍

Tumalog Waterfalls is very beautiful but I recommend that you go there as early as 6 or 7 in the morning. It gets too crowded by 8 to 9am. The entrance is P50 per person. There's about a kilometre walk down the steep and windy road. Or you can take the motorbike for P50 back and forth. I did both: walked on the way down and took a motorbike for P30 on the way back.

Incredible views! Definitely worth to spend a few minutes here. The water is pretty cold, and is not a hike to get to as compared to other waterfalls I’ve been to. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday morning, so for better (less crowded) photos, I suggest going earlier/on a weekday. You can swim or get your dead skin nibbled on by the fish on the lower bank. You have to ride a motorbike to get there, which is only about 2 mins. Once there, the staff are pretty friendly, and the place itself is very clean.

Absolutely worth a visit, beautiful waterfall and well maintained. Just be aware if you get a ride on the scooters down the hill. It's a thrill ride!

Nice falls. You got to challenge yourself walking on a steep road to get to the majestic view mother nature offered and another challenge walking back. You can take a local ride back and forth - for a price.

Pay 50 pesos to enter. The walk to the waterfall is really steep downhill, though paved. Get ready for an exercise getting back to the parking lot from the waterfall. Such a beautiful waterfall! I was told that the government had closed the area but it was open on the day of our visit after the whale-shark-watching. The fresh water was unexpectedly colder that I had expected. It was refreshing to have a dip in there. Give it a try! There were people who offered to take pictures and videos of us. They know what they are doing. Let them help you and give them a small tip!

Great place to see... easy access nice new roads, and they scooter you down an back up for 100p, well worth it... Bring your water shoes if you plan on getting in the water because there are small rocks that can hurt your feet, also bring a camera, Hero, Go pro, that can handle water b/c the spray from the falls are intense if your up close. The water was lil chilly but you get use to it and not more then a meter deep. over all great experience with easy access.

Second time going here, just as beautiful as the first! This time though, they had staff available to take photos and videos near the falls! They don't ask for a set amount of money to do so, only what you feel comfortable giving. They do a great job though! Man's made my video look like it was filmed in slow motion with a drone using only his hands!

Good place for timeless photography and videography. Nice clean water with sand in some places. Drones aren't allowed due to work performed by locals called "human drone". 50peso for motorbike one way up or down the trail. There's also a free fish pedicure pool at the base of the waterfall.

Tumalog Waterfall is like nature's own water show – seriously, it's a jaw-dropper! The way those falls dive down into the pool is like magic. Plus, the whole place is so green and chill, it's like a secret paradise. If you're into good vibes and stunning scenery, Tumalog is the spot!

Amazing waterfalls. I came here because this location was a part of the itinerary of an organized trip. From the entrance you can walk to the falls, which I do not recommend if you are short on time or you have knee pain because the road is very steep. The other way to get there is by motorbike. It is fun, very fast and helps the local economy. The place is magical, not too crowded during my visits. Water is a bit cold and there are some rocks on the bottom but it was a great experience.

The trip to Tumalog Falls was added quickly to the plan after realizing that this is only a few minutes away from the Whale Shark watching area. Effort was not wasted after the uphill/downhill drive, twist and turns plus the short motorcycle ride downhill to the spot. If you don't like riding the motorcycle, you can take a short downhill hike. Check if you have your camera and swim wear if you want to take a dip at the cold and refreshing pool right at the foot of the waterfalls. Go and experience the adventure yourself.

Quite beautiful waterfall but also very very touristic. You should definitely walk downwards from the entrance to the waterfall (5-10min) and maybe take the moto for the way up. People form very politely lanes to take pictures from the good spots. It's probably nearly impossible to get a picture alone in the water, but Googles/Android magic eraser tool can make the magic happen ;-) We were there just 20min, didn't see any reason to stay longer.

Went here on our 3rd day tour trip at Cebu. Upon entrance, you will be welcomed by their staff with motorcycle to assist you onto the main entrance of the falls. Take caution of the very steep road ahead. Service fee costs Php 50.00 and the entrance fee also Php 50.00. There were plenty visitors during our visit. The place is clean and well maintained. Staff are very approachable to our inquires and are hospitable, too.

It’s one of the worth checking tourist attractions in Cebu city. You can get there on walk or taking a cab from the city. The temple is located on a hill thereby giving wider panoramic view of Cebu city. Inside it’s quiet and has numerous Taoism altars to pray and seek blessings. From outside, the architecture is quite unique and stands out well in Cebu. Decorated with concrete statues, pagodas, lanterns, and furious dragons, the whole compound looks wonderful.

The place is nice and peaceful. No entrance fee, just make sure you have a mask ready. I went there with a taxi cost me like ₱50 from the subdivision gates. Best to go with someone who can make good shots for your photo. The place is picturesque. Don’t be too loud coz its actually a prayer place. No picture taking allowed on the inside of temple itself and their statues inside. You are free to pray and lit a candle stick(not sure what you call that stick) I went there alone and yet I enjoyed exploring and climbing up the stairs .. Make sure your knees and joints are ready for that high climb..

Prepare your masks because at this time, they still don't let unmasked people inside. Prepare also to climb quite a number of steps. They also don't let people to take photos inside the shrine out of respect.

What a beautiful place. Worth a visit. You may have to park about half a block away. Bring a mask 😷. You will need it to get in the gate.

Temple nice and on an elevated landscape, so views of the city below. I came here because there doesn't appear to be any toa temples in Cebu but maybe wrong and adds another piece of the unique history puzzle that is Cebu. BRING YOUR FACE MASK as this is compulsory and there is none for sale. Oh and BRING ID as security on the road demands before entering into this expensive neighbourhood.

Nice temple. You need a taxi to arrive here, but I felt it was worth visiting it . Very different experience. You need a mask to get in the complex. It is not allowed to take pictures inside. The views are amazing and the entire place feels very peacefully. There is also a souvenir place from where you can buy at a reasonable price different things.

We had a cab driver rented for the afternoon to drive us around the mountainside so we can visit all the tourists spots. This was the first stop. This place was beautiful. Every frame I took here was just postcard perfect. But be respectful. This is a temple. As you would treat your own church, treat this place as sacred.

It’s free. Has beautiful architectural aspects, well maintained, and with beautiful views. Great the it’s open and shared with all. Recommend and would return. Not too sure about the big garage they are building but perhaps necessary due to visiting demand vs neighborhood impacts.

Chinese temple in Cebu City. It is a nice quiet place to check out. You will see here traditional architecture common in China. To respect the sacral element of the place You should avoid taking pictures of their sacred areas and be quiet. Entrance is free.

Review as of March 2024 Being a dominantly Catholic population, this temple is one of the few Taoist temples in the Philippines. Despite this, the place is well maintained and has a great view of the Cebu City landscape. Visitors are not allowed to take photos inside the places of worship.

A typical Chinese temple, with lots of dragon designs, lanterns, and a huge pagoda. It is well-maintained. You should observe silence, and keep a low voice at all times. There’s this room where you can pray, and ask if something that you are longing for will come true or not. When we were there, we tried to wait for the officiator, but we were also hesitant if the person can speak English. So, we just looked around.

The place is very serene and garden is beautiful. Nice structure and design. Taking pictures of the prayer area is not allowed or even using it as background. Need to respect it because its their house of prayer. There are staff assigned. The temple is located in the hill where you can see the city. Best time to come early.

This was an ok place. I wasn't too happy about having to p ut on a facemask even though the pandemic is over. There are lots of stairs and it just made it uncomfortable. Other than that the buildings were what you would expect them to be.

Beautiful taoist temple. It was a hot day when we went, but the beauty, architecture and ambience of the place was nice. You get quite a good view from the top. Taking photographs inside the shrines and alters is prohibited.

You go here to pray in the Taoist Temple. But you can also go here to appreciate the wonderful and stunning view from the mountains. Wear a mask when you enter the compound. Do not take pictures inside the temple. Do not take pictures of the figures. It is a sacred religious place.

I love places like this. Usually, a feeling of inner peace and calm washes over me when I visit temples or shrines. I had a difficult time accomplishing that here for some reason. There was too much spiritual dissonance and disruption in the ether here. Location was breathtaking and beautiful. Maybe 20 or 30 years ago, when it wasn't surrounded by wealth and opulence, it may have had a different, more serene vibe. I went here to honor a friend who had passed recently and held Daoist beliefs. I even wanted to grieve a little for him, but the "touristy" vibe negated that. The cost of maintenance has obviously been a factor, so I left a larger-than-normal offering. But, damn! It's such a beautiful place!

To be honest, there is not a lot to see apart from the buildings themselves. However, we still thought it was worth the trip, and you get a great view of the city It is free to enter, but you do need to have a face mask - albeit nobody implemented the rule once you were inside the complex

NOT WORTH IT. It’s located inside a private subdivision so there’s no public transport that can go in. Only cars (taxi/grab) plus when u reach there, the security guard will force u to buy a face mask but there’s nobody inside the temple that’s implementing this rule. Some of the staffs don’t even wear one. I think the security guard earn his commissions from the sales of the mask haha. There’s nothing really to see inside this temple. If u have a lot of extra time or days from your stay, better spend it somewhere else.

My January visit to the Cebu Taoist Temple was a serene and enlightening experience, with an impressive architecture. I can now say I stood at the spot their hero Magellan was killed by the other hero Lapu-Lapu. Magellan was forcing oppression and is now revered for forcing Christianity. Also there is some doll involved in all this. The doll makes for hella street festivals.

This is a nice plaza. There was a volunteer that came up to us and talked to us about the history of the site. He even opened the side gate so we could go to the shops at the side to buy pasalubong.

Clean, Nice, and very good for picture taking. There are also some stores that sell different souviners. But it is so hot. I recommend everyone who would like to visit to bring umbrella or anything that can cover them from the intense heat of the sun. You can also bring portable electric fan. And lastly, don't forget to bring thirst quenchers.

Well-maintained park where you can visit in Mactan when you explore Cebu. It is just few minutes away from Mactan airport. So, if you have time before catching your flight, please do visit this monument.

Not your usual native chocolate shop. The decor inside and outside made me feel like it was Hispanic times. Unique in so many ways.

my wife and I just spent an hour or two to enjoy the Mactan Shrine, it's new & quite big that the last time I visited here..you will enjoy the fresh air and nice view..

Love the place, its kids friendly and the whole family will love it. They have slides, jacuzzi, swimming bar, buffet, restaurant, comfortable couch, live band and singers at night, showers and toilets are clean. The staffs are so accommodating, the foods are affordable and yummy. They have towels for rent, bringing of foods are not allowed. Pool party for the whole family with nice view.

This is a convenient stop especially when you're doing an errands at Jmall. There are so much businesses establishment here including government agencies. (SSS, NBI, PAG-IBIG, LTO and etc.) All shops are open. There are lots of shoppers and people going to government offices. Many stores to revisit for all your needs and has a lot of restaurants. Social distancing rarely observed. Escalators turned off. It is also convenient to commute, there are many busses and taxis infront of this mall.

Went there to attend the Otakufest. Foodcourt had lots of food stalls but not enough tables and chairs. They have small boutiques which sell clothes, shoes, etc on the 3rd floor as well. Department store's on the 2nd floor. They have jollibee & mang inasal near the entrance.

It’s always a pleasure to be here at J Centre Mall. In fact, it was my brother’s first time here who’s from Manila and he really appreciates the place. Firstly, the mall is very orderly and you can see that upon entering the mall. Our private vehicle was able to navigate their entrance and parking area easily. At the entrance, you’ll feel that the security is one of their top priorities. Not lenient but still courteous enough that you don’t being harassed by their security personnel. The most popular booths, shops are located accessibly. At the ground floor you will find restaurants. The supermarket is also very accessible and the good are always fresh. What I also like is the fact that the ATMs are situated in one area. There are also rest rooms situated accessibly. The prices here are reasonable that’s probably because their rents are low. My favorite place is the Venetian Food Haven. The place is very elegant and that Venetian theme is very enticing and enjoyable. For those who are differently abled, you’ll find that J Centre Mall has you on their minds. The elevators are very accessible. The sales people here no matter which shop you are accommodating and friendly. Congratulations to the management of J Mall, keep up the good work.

Great mall. Well laid out. Immigration office is very conveniently located. Got our business taken care of efficiently & without hassle.

It's a great place for shopping. It has a good ambiance. We went there for extension visa at the Immigration office just inside the mall.

The Mall is generally ok. It is better than a Giasano but not as good as an SM. There are quite a few good shops and the supermarket is not too bad. Some outlets seem to have closed due to the pandemic I imagine. It’s worth a visit if you are in the area

Stopped by this mall since we were staying at the hotel on top of it. It isn't very big so you could easily traverse the mall within an hour if you just walk around. We did look around in the morning so most places were still closed. There are quite a few restaurants in here as well as food stalls. There is also a cinema at the top floor. It's a nice place to spend the afternoon.

I enjoy going to J Mall for their very creative interior design, especially at the food court. It's like you're eating under the clouds, with instagrammable walls and ceilings. They also have affordable value meals, but there's no free water refilling station. Even on a Holy Week, some of their tenants like Mcdo and Jollibee are open. It's also just a stone's throw away from Toyoko Inn.

A big and secure mall (except with the recent robbery). Everything you need from restaurants (filipino, korean, japanese, chinese), snacks, groceries, up to cinemas. The place is food haven with their large food court with amazing theme and a wide selection of restaurants. Cinema is small and actually better than bigger ones. The best seats are in the front. Mall also has different government agencies such as LTO, SSS, NBI, and immigration.

I love the ambiance of its food court here, so instagrammable. The whole mall is so unique from others because though it's small compared to other shopping center but the owner was able to maximize the performance to its highest potential. It has money transfer establishments, BPO, fine dining to fast food restaurants, grocery stores, department stores, and many more. Plus I really enjoy watching the fishes in the aquarium. Haha

Unexpected outing with colleagues. Its so much fun. We enjoyed the beach especially the fishes around. The cottage are also floating, they have a band which make more nice. Anyone can sing together with the band members. They also have little store there. But I enjoyed more with sea urchin so fresh. Love it.

The place is now familiar including the people. Catered food was phenomenal Filipino menu. But has to be ordered in advance. Activities that you could do are: Eating, snorkelling, boating/kayaking, and so near the bird sanctuary.

The mostly bamboo bridge in is a little sketchy, if you’re not physically capable it might be frightening. The water at the reef is pretty shallow but bursting with a cool variety of fish. The people working at the pier were a little pushy with souvenirs but eventually took the hint. Had some delicious fresh sashimi and a beer for 200pesos

A perfect getaway place if you don't feel spending a lot of money and time, and you wanted to be far away from the city. It's extremely affordable, and you will be able to experience to swim with tropical fishes

Very cool boardwalk and mangroves. Menu of prices depending on if you want to swim or take a boat ect. The kayaking + fish feeding was very fun and our guides Pinocchio was fantastic.

I started at a hotel on Mactan Island and asking how to get here was not resulting in much info. So I took on the adventure. Packed my snorkel gear, grabbed a taxi to the harbor, hopped on a ferry to Olango Island for 40PHP. Had some delicious coconut juice for 25 PHP on the way and arrived where many trikes were waiting. for a not so cheap price, I was dropped at the Sanctuary. I then walked and walked after paying the 180 PHP for entrance along a very rickety walkway to a platform...with tables and such. Offered a boat to go out since its better at high tide and being low tide, i was far from "swimming" anywhere. 500 PHP for an hour and taken out to where i could snorkel at the edge between shallow and deep. Caught a glance at some beautiful colored fish...but pretty basic ocean floor. Had a great time and came back into have a coconut and regroup to walk back. Bring small change. showers are hand scooped but nice to get the salt water off back at the entrance station. Headed back to the trike to the harbor to a taxi and back to the hotel...I was gone about 5 hours and in the ocean for about 2. Bring small money. Go at high tide. island hopping also available. Birds at high tide also!

This place is unique, and gorgeous! The iconic bridge is a great place to test your wide angle lens :D There's lots of little fish around, and taking a snorkel is highly recommended here, you'll see loads of fish around. A nearby sanctuary has a nice viewpoint for birds, a lovely stone bridge and some very helpful staff. There are coconuts for a drink and some trinkets on sale. Overall, a nice getaway, highly recommended.

Went here July few months after the typhoon Odette. The bridge going to the cottages were still damage and cottages are totally ruined but still accessible by boat.

The island is beautiful. It maintained its natural beauty. The beach is clean and has crystal clear waters. The people are friendly too. I'd come back someday. And they offer fresh seafoods.

The island is small but it has beautiful sand bar, crystal clear water that is shallow near the sand bar good for dipping and swimming even for kids. The place is too cool.

Most tourists go here for lunch. P500 bucks for a meal with grilled fresh seafood and fruits. Not bad at all! Plus it helps the locals living in this beautiful island. Don’t forget to buy some souvenirs as well. ^_^

NEVER AGAIN! This is not a fishing village but a tourist trap. Now seafood have to be imported from neighboring islands to cater the influx of Korean and Chinese tourists, it has completely destroyed the dynamic of these islands. There is no place to sit, and the locals can be seen fanning the tourist while they eat! $6 for one shrimp $10 for one small crab $25 for one fish $14 for a chicken dish each person $5 entrance fee. (200 pesos February 2019) No sides. No service. Not tasty, served on a paper plate. Rice will cost extra. Everything is so overpriced, and they are not even negotiating. Prices above are in US dollar, it’s so ridiculous the entire community is now engaged in tourism only. Never again.

We went here last May 17, 2022. The only accessible area is around 20%. 80% or majority of the place was closed for tourists due to constructions and renovations. Upon entering the church, there is an alloted space where you can light your colored candles and pray for your intentions. You can also purchase religious items there. For the parking area, there is a space near the entrance. Parking fee is ₱40. *may mga manong pala na kakaway-kaway sayo before you reach the church. I don’t know but it looks like they are waving towards a parking space (too narrow entrance). Not sure on the parking rates there but better go straight ahead and turn left when you reached the entrance to the chuch which is on your right.

The church's architecture is impressive😍Just a reminder make sure you dress appropriately when you visit the Basilica. They're quite strict about the dress code, so guys should wear collared shirts and long pants, and ladies should go for modest dresses or skirts that go below the knee. However, if you forget or didn't come prepared, there are vendors outside the church who sell or rent scarves that you can use to cover up🧣.

Awesome experience. We travel 2 hours from the city to reached here. Along the way is heavy traffic due to road widening still we reached on time. It's little busy for devotee. Place is safe, you can see security guard inside every corner and they are approachable. Parking available nearby for 20 pesos + toilet facility. Pasalubong or souvenir items available at cheap rate. Food vendors are everywhere.

Nice place to tour and meditate (for those dedicated Roman Catholic). No entrance fee. But don't forget to wear appropriate clothes like long pants/dress or shirts (No shorts and sleeveless). They allow slippers. Bring an umbrella and small fan during the day. Souvenirs are available inside and outside the area. Be respectful on their mass and culture.

As of October 3, 2021, the main church is close but you can still go inside (entrance area). There you can lit your candles and pray. Children are not allowed inside. To my surprise Simala is getting better. God bless who wants to go there 🙏

Enchanting place, there were too many things to see on the way to the main chapel, but once inside, the breathtaking golden altar catches your attention. There was a museum area where they display handwritten testimonials of answered prayer requests. The road on the way to this cathedral is narrow and some parts are good for just one vehicle, so I think there is a schedule for entry of 4 wheeled vehicles. There is a parking lot beside the entrance for 40pesos

It's a quiet place & a good feeling to pray. Surrendered all your worries, sorrows and asking for guidance. It was worth it to travel , climb going up of stairs and going inside of the Church. I was amazed about the structures, paintings and the colloms inside of the Church. I highly recommend to visit this place and will come back again.

My third time visiting this church. I went there together with my family this time. Almost every year, they have construction or renovation going on. Travel time is still 2 hours. If you want to arrive directly to the church, then you should grab a VHire. Take the first trip around 5 o'clock in the morning so that you'll arrive early. They will open the gate at 8 o'clock in the morning. Security guards and armies are every where to check and look at their visitors. Vendors are everywhere as well. They have affordable meals and souvenir items.

After years of just imagining being at this place, I've finally visited my comfort and healing zone. This place is magical in its realness on how even just the ambiance embraces people and holds them in faith going to the right path. Every corner of this place is just how it should be. It gives a feeling of "God is continuously showering each of us an overflowing amount of blessings". This place is a must-go-to place in the Philippines I could say. Visit and be blessed even more!

This place is very calming and so nice. The best time would be on a weekday. Make sure your clothes don't show your shoulders and reach below your knees. If you're in the area already don't fret because there are stores where you can rent a tapis / sarong not sure how much. There is also no entrance fee.

Went on a day tour to Simala during our Cebu trip earlier this month. Travel took 2 hours from Cebu City. It's a great place to pray and commune with God - quiet, solemn, peaceful. We went during a national holiday, so understandably there are a lot of people. Will definitely come back on a less busy day.

This is an amazing place. There is so much to see on the property. The surrounding views are beautiful. It is about a two hour drive from our house because there was a lot of construction going on. Well worth the drive.

This is a free entrance. If you are in Cebu, it’s a must to drop-by especially if you are a christian or a devoted christian. The lines for the Mama Mary is long and you have to remove your footwear so I suggest you wear socks for proper hygiene. Wonderful church. Worth to visit!

We arrived in Simala Parish Church after lunch. Traffic was manageable and the crowd wasn't a lot. Considering the path going up, our seniors were able to use the stairs with ease. Visitors were respectful to one another, keeping right and allowing quick snaps of the place. The parish museum was organized setting up a system where people queue through pictures, testimonials, Mary's relic, and the writing area for prayer intentions. It was a very good experience overall.

There are many devotees the time we visit. They are disciplined and observe the rules in the church. The paintings inside the church are very beautiful. The church itself is beautiful.

This is the second time I've been here and I can say a lot has changed. More and more devotees are coming each year because of the miraculous Mama Mary. One of the places that you should visit while in Cebu.

So pretty!!! I would recommend wearing proper clothing as I was asked to change. (For respect) I was wearing a tank top and a short. We booked the 3 day tour from klook..and OMG. WORTH THE MONEY. Our driver was so nice. Patient. And understandable.

Love the architectural design of this place. Such a magnificent holy place to visit. Mama Mary's devotees flock to this splendid castle. There are a lot of picturesque areas for tourists as well.

Nice tourist attraction. Park near the gates. Go early as line starts at 7am even though gate will open at 8am. Do not wear skirts, short and leggings they were strict with dress code.

Island Central Mactan was our last stop for souvenir shopping, and it didn't disappoint. Robinson's supermarket offered a range of delicious Philippine delicacies. The mall also featured fast-food chains like McDonald's and Jollibee, perfect for a quick bite. What surprised us was finding a Goldilocks shop, where we stocked up on polvorons. However, they had just 12 packets, so we bought them all. Unfortunately, we couldn't find polvorons in any other shops in the mall, so we ended up paying inflated prices at the airport. On a positive note, the pickup coffee truck outside served great coffee. Overall, it's a good mall for quick shopping and a coffee fix.

I love this place as always. There's a positive aura in this area with a perfect view of airplanes about to land in Mactan International Airport. They have eat all you can there. DIY just opened the other day. Whatever. Skin Clinic. Travel and tours. Milk tea shop. Pet shop. And a very clean comfort room. E-games. McDonald's. "Saekyung office! Its a small mall compared to Sm & Robinsons but it has Jollibee, McDo, Gerry's Grill, Kuya J. LTO, NBI, Shops, LBC, National Bookstore, Security Bank and Pawnshop. DIY and massage center, playland for kids & ticketing office. Globe & Watsons

It had just enough places to eat and has Watsons, Robins Supermarket, where you can pick up dried mangos or Crest toothpastes at cheap prices! McDonalds, ice cream shop, cafes and Jollibee is available for a quick meal and desserts! Close by the airport, but nothing too fancy.

The place is nice, if you become tired from walking around, there are ample areas to rest or take a seat. However, please note that the parking lot is somewhat limited in size.

This is a modern style mall. Lots of open spaces for a nice view of all the shops inside the mall. It has all the basic shops common to malls. Restaurants, hardware store, supermarket, etc. The mall looks small when viewed from the outside. But when you go inside, it is very spacious. This is because of a larger area behind the facade. The location is an advantage for people going to and coming from the airport.

Place is not so big but it has a supermarket, hair and nail salons, fast food (Jollibee), restaurants/ cafes and hardware. Serves its purpose when you don't want to go to crowded malls.

I like this mall because they have so many nice restaurants! my favorite is the Pho' vietnamese resto by Cook Pub but i can't find them in google map so i can't révise mes them. But trust me this vietnamese restaurant is to die for!!! everything is so delicious in a very affordable price! they have the best green drinks so fresh , everything is made from scratch! it's so healthy!

Average Mall. Though the food court is no longer there (I guess from typhoon odette or The pandemic) And the Mr diy was Great!

When I arrived at 9.00am it was like an open plan and you could walk freely around the shops and took some photos which will give you a good idea what kind of mall is this.I think I would not call this place as a mall and shopping centre ! But you can get your very basic needs ..Opening time is 10 am till 10 pm. It is very basic two storey market place which has around 7-8 fast food restaurant.Ground floor Jolibee was in the corner shop on the left side of entrance.The elevator was not working so I had to walk the stairs and there was Mc Donalds upstair and a few more fast food restaurants were not opened yet also I noted some renovation works carried out.Unless you are very hungry I would not recommend for shopping or time passing etc.There are no other shops just Robinson super market was next to this place..

They have kept building and surroundings nice clean and like new...mid size mall two story with all chain fast food close to terminal 1 and 2 international

I always visit this mall to buy stuffs and to hang outs. Well for me, this is a typical mall you can find fast foods and stores inside this mall it's a common setup don't expect too much if you're planning to visit this mall. This mall needs a slight upgrade on their facilities and they need to fix their AC systems. Note, they have NBI & LTO satellite offices inside this mall.

Wedding site for a niece. Beautiful Catholic church, lots of stained glass, pews for a thousand or more. The sound system is ancient and makes understanding the Priests words difficult, and painful at times because of the sound distortion thru the speakers.

the La Virgen dela Regla has been part of my childhood ( my family devotes prayer to her since I was a child ) only few owns images here, and visiting her shrine in Cebu where she originally appears feels surreal, I feel so blessed and overwhelmed 🥺🙏🤍 (the one photo was me when I was a baby and at my back is the La Virgen dela Regla owned by a local here in ZC)

Most of us Catholics would religiously come and visit this shrine. We considered this shrine a holy place in Lapu-Lapu City. It is very accessible. There is no entrance fee nor buying a ticket upon entry.

Visited today before the incoming Fiest of Birhen sa Regla. Mass was held when I arrived. I got to light a candle and give thanks for all the blessings I’ve received coming from above. no yeah the quality of the mall has definitely fallen. the ac is nonexistent, the number of cracks/broken tiles is concerning, and there was a sharp, unpleasant smell coming from the sales area in front of/between the ground floor escalator. toys in the toy section had damaged packaging, and there's definitely a bit of a pest problem in at least one store within the mall. the staff/employees i interacted with were polite and helpful, which is the main reason why this isn't a flat one star. i used to come here all the time up until odette; i'm willing to believe that the drastic decline in quality is due to damages incurred that never got repaired. i'd say i would update with more details after another visit, but this one was disappointing enough that until i hear that its situation has improved, i will be avoiding the mall unless absolutely necessary.

I was not allowed to leave the mall because there was no receipt attached in my grocery bags. I showed them the receipt from the credit card payment which has the store's logo , date and time but they invalidated it! I asked them to re-print the receipt, or scan again my groceries and check if it matched the amount paid but they said that is not possible! I informed them ahead that I could not stay long since I need to fetch the kids from their Taekwondo training and it was already beyond 7pm!!! I even requested if I could just leave my number and ID and call me once they are done investigating but they declined saying it is there protocol! It took them more than 30 minutes to get back to me and even tried to lie that the receipt was mistakenly attached to another customer when in fact, there was no other customer during that time and they were all busy searching for the receipt in the boxes. If it was attached to another customer's bag, why would they end up looking for the receipt in the boxes??? The supervisor, Maricel Tampon does not even explain to me what was happening even after asking her several times on what they found out on the cctv. She just handed a green paper to the bagger and I was just right behind her! She has an attitude and did not even say sorry or do anything to calm me! It made me angry when she handed it to the bagger and the bagger said "mam, this is your gate pass". So I asked, "so that's it?? After all the the shaming you did to me here, everyone looking at me like you caught a thief, this is all you do without even apologizing?? Great customer service!! Amazing!!" They only started to apologize when my husband and father came and they said it was a mistake by the bagger because there was really no receipt attached which was different to what they said to me the first time that it was attached to another customer's groceries.

It's not as bad as some of the reviews make out! It's a decent enough mall with a few eateries and shops and a decent supermarket. A little bit rundown in spots but I've seen worse. You can probably find whatever you need here at a reasonable price.

There are lots of Gaisano Malls in Lapu Lapu City, and Cebu city. Don't expect too much in the way of foreign food. What there is, is mega expensive. Vegetables like onion's, potatoes, and carrots are ultra expensive and, of poor quality. Often the queues at the checkout are horrendous due customers who run Sari Sari stores ordering vast quantities of food. The check out is also very slow but, they do pack your bags. Just have to watch your shopping doesn't get mixed up with the customers shopping in front. You pay and, they get the benefits of your shopping. Patience is the virtue at Gaisano Mall supermarket.

Mall with a lot local varieties but maintenance level can be improved

I pity the people working there. It's been hot for quite a long time. They say the aircon was being fixed but it has been ages since they had a cold mall. People go to the mall to relax , and chill out and feel cold. Instead we wanna go home right away because it's better at home. Although they sell cheaper items that's just the downside of it.

This place has all the fast food stalls and stores usually found in a mall not as big as an SM but OK. Prices are not too bad. I only went to the ground floor so I cannot make a comment on the other levels. I went all the way up to the 4th floor today to purchase an antenna for my TV. There is a huge selection of household goods up there. Worth looking there for whatever you need.

Department store is large and well stocked. And they'll deliver for a flat fee starting at 450 pesos (higher if your farther away), I think no matter what you want delivered. And they deliver same day. Grocery store is also large and great for dry goods. Meat section is okay and they're a little weak on produce. (We prefer SM Hyper for meat and produce, but gaisano is better for most everything else.) Food court is a little limited, though if you're looking for something quick and cheap there are a bunch of food stalls in the grocery. Be nice if there were more other stores. It's a good selection but nothing to jump up and cheer about. Escalators seem to be broken all the time.

This local mall reminded me of 80's and 90's vibes, very nostalgic. The music played here was 80's music, which I loved them all! Although it was not very exciting and up-to-date as compared with the SM Malls in Cebu, I still love this one 😉 I found CRT TVs here!!!

Filthy dogs sleeping on the steps at the entrance and no one tries to remove them. Very loud and hot inside.

No aircon for the longest time. Broken escalators.broken glass. Don't shop here! This store is broken! How can they continue to operate like this! Maheatstroke ka sud sa mall! The broken glass does not even have a warning or safety sign or cone. Very dangerous for small kids or even adults that don't notice it.

The mall is located at a heavy traffic area. The inside of the mall is good and air conditioned, altho the services at the mall is limited with having only the department store as the clothing store inside the mall.

A must visit historical place in Cebu. Entrance is free but expect lots of children begging for food. It is not usually crowded. The place is clean but the water next to it is unfortunately full of rubbish which I find it very sad. I hope the local government could do something about it.

Situated along Punta Engaño Road few km from MCIA. A known historical landmark and famous for tourist to visit.

Together with Magellan’s Marker, it is located in Lapu-lapu City, Mactan, Cebu. Nice place to unwind and catch the sunset. There’s food places nearby, and souvenir shops to buy goodies for your friends and families.

It was pouring when we went here. I wasn't able to go around the perimeter but I had a great time especially when we went at night.

If you are living/staying around Mactan Newtown,this is a nice place to take a walk at night at the lights are on and it lit the place.

It was easy to take a picture at this momument of Lapulapu. Not really that crowded of a place. Its like a park, but no playground. A good place to visit in Cebu if you are into history. Just hope there is a translation of what's written there in English so some people can understand. The other side of this is the ocean which is not really that maintained, still has some fishes in it tho. Overall, a good experience/visit. No need to buy any ticket here, entrance is fee. Parking may cost 20 to 50 pesos tho.

Visited 4 years ago. Expectation VS Reality. Place is overrated. Although we enjoyed ourselves at the inflatable and taking pictures coz the place is instagrammable.

Nice place for families. Overpriced for the rooms. You have to stop at a tent outside then wait for a ride onto the property. Facilities are nice but could use some maintenance in the bathrooms. Oddly only undrinkable salt water is available in showers and bathrooms. Enjoyed the bright colors and floating obstacle. Staff was great. Food was good.

Very underwhelming- a far stretch from photos online. The shore is very small and the beach poorly maintained with rubbish strewn all over. The place is dirty and the floats were nasty. The insides of the floats were black so we couldn’t really sit on them. Service at the bar is poor - we ordered 3 milkshakes and waited for nearly 30 minutes while the 4 bartenders were just standing around chatting with each other. The drinks were also disappointing (only the watermelon shake is nice), you are better off buying mineral water. Not worth the long trip and leaving the area was a hassle (even outside the main gate) in terms of trying to find a grab is hard. In all, this beach was overwhelmingly disappointing.

Photos online can be deceiving. I was so disappointed when I got here. The shower room is so dirty. Flushes not working. It's flooded inside so it's hard to change clothes and even the door locks are not working. The water coming out from the shower is salty. The beach is not well maintained. Trashes everywhere. I couldn't even swim. The place is just good for instagram worthy pics. The fire dance at night is amazing though! However, I am unsure if I would still want to come back here. Cleanliness is important to me. I will come back and recommend this if the issues above will be fixed.

I expected less from this resort due to numerous complaints from reviews I've read. But it's better to try once than hear about it a hundred times. charrot! Anywayz, I really enjoyed the place. The concept is unique. My kids really enjoyed the shows at 3pm and the fire dance at 7pm. I love the rooms. We all fit in one room when we usually get 2 rooms in other resorts. The food is delicious and price is OK. The staff is really warm and very accommodating. I know they have issues with the nearby Tambuli Residences regarding road access, even the staff cannot pass without paying, and needs to use boat instead. Poor thing. Hopefully they can close that problem, for sure a lot of people will flock. Kudos to the staff. I always appreciate efforts from people who love doing their jobs. Thanks Happy Beach! Pros: staff are friendly, food and drinks are affordable and taste good, night show is spectacular Cons: rooms are not great (bathroom water is salty, room size small, no fridge, hard bed) - price is not worth it for the quality of the room, and not easily accessible from the main area. We cancelled our second night because we were disappointed; Pool size is very small, drive way from the main road to the resort is an ugly sight understandably due to it being not fully finished. Overall would recommend just a day trip

A little bit smaller than expected, hot summer place, breakfast meal is @ 500+, too bad they don’t have a right of way so an additional of 350 will be added to the entrance fee, but the place is very beautiful especially for the kids and ladies they would really enjoy the color, what? Water for rinsing is salt water?my buddy told me that because I did not go swimming,getting here is easy we use Grab car and they have transportation going out,and ride a tricycle to the taxi area.

Perfect for taking pictures, very friendly & helpful staff, very spacious and clean rooms and amazing fireworks show. Will definitely go back! The water in the bathroom was very salty though but I was told by the management that this will be fixed within the month. =)

They have a wide range of dishes with a reasonable price. Their selected dishes were good tasting. Accomodating and friendly staff. Having visited few floating restaurants, its good and you won't be sea sick due to th stable raft/floating areas. However, their restrooms aren't that clean.

The energy of the staff here is amazing. It started raining heavily right after we just ordered so we had to stand up since our table was in the line of fire. So a bunch of guests piled up under the awning part to try and stay dry. The staff was unphased and continued serving through the challenges. And they did it with high energy and smiles on their faces. The food was delicious as well.

Very nice place to dine-in. Right next or on the ocean. The atmosphere is one of the best in the area with an awesome view of the sun setting in the afternoon. Food is good, I'll give them a 4.5 on a scale of 5. The meat is tender and tasty. We were served fairly quickly and the staff was very courteous with us.

Visited this place just a few days before the typhoon hit Cebu last Dec 2021.. everything was ruined; I just checked their FB account today and they announced that they are still rebuilding what they lost. I’m glad that despite the struggles, the owner/s decided to rise after falling. I miss lantaw - the great place, tasty and affordable food and the nice staff! Visiting Philippines again from Canada and we decided to come back to Lantaw at cordova. The food was amazing. There were 13 of us and we ordered a bunch of different dishes from an exotic seafood (don’t know the name of) to the usual ones like shrimp, scallops. We had crispy pata as well (pork knucle) it was incredibly flavorful and super juicy and crispy. The fish sinigang (fish sour soup) was simply delicious and served piping hot. It was comfort food for our tastebuds and heart. Service was top notch. Ample parking. I am definitely coming back when we visit Cebu Philippines again probably next year. Place is worth my dollar bucks💰.💯

There’s no doubt the fish is fresh…. But I would’ve been more at ease not seeing the dogs walking around the kitchen… . . . There’s something about kitchens and food that makes me think the cleaner the better… witnessing street dogs roaming freely next to the cook and the entire kitchen, licking their wounds and being part of the crew is something that made me a bit concern about the cleaning levels of this place. But hey! Having Cebu’s major eating right next to you might be a prove that this place is legit no? Fresh fish properly presented in your table before cooked so that you can see it’s proper fresh fish and not frozen and a packed place did alleviate a little my concerns. Other than that, cooked food was decent, service could’ve been better, more knowledgeable and may be a bit less messy with our order and more attentive with the surroundings. But other than that overall good experience, good meal and a proper decent place for some good food.

What I like: 1. Safety health protocols were emplemented. 2. Good ambiance 3. Friendly staff. 4. Good food. 5. Staff are singing happy birthday song if you have birthday celebrant. What I don't like: 1. Parking have lots of water due to the rain. No proper drainage. 2. Dirty Toilet. Note: on google map, their closing time is 11pm however they close at 10 pm. I already suggest an edit. Overall: We had a good experience during our visit.

Place is nice, good seaside view. The service is great, staff are attentive. The serving time is just right enough not to wait that long. They have plenty of seats. The best that we had here is the Cordova Express which is a mix of seafoods served in a coconut husk, it tastes great, a bit cold though, I think it would be better if it was served hot. Baked Scallops is also good. Their Garlic Butter shrimp is a bit overcooked which tend the skin of the shrimp hard to remove. Pork Belly is a bit rubbery as well. Update: My wife and I got diarrhea from eating here. It seems their seafoods are not that good.

Food was amazing! Service was okay. Really nice ambiance and it's a great place to go when you're in Cebu, for food and pictures teehee I was here for a commercial shoot at night, and the lighting around the place was good, not too dark, not too bright.

It’s our first time to go to Lantaw Cordova. We want to have a dinner for 2. Their staff are not accomodating, not friendly.They didn’t greet their customer, they don’t smile. I understand that it’s busy b’coz its dinner. Their not attentive. I think their staff don’t have the knowledge on what their selling. The plates are dusty. We’re very disappointed! We’re not in the mood the whole time for our dinner. The food is bland especially the sisig. I cannot recommend this place.

Whilst out Touring with a local, she recommended trying this place. I wasn’t disappointed. The food was fresh and incredibly tasty. The service was outstanding and although we weren’t there during sunset, I’m told the views later in the afternoon are breathtaking. Should I come back to Cebu, I will definitely make sure I visit again. Try the scallops and the tuna belly.

Great place to eat during sunset. The Panga and adobo squid were the best. I never tasted adobo squid like that before. Highly recommended for dinner date.

Good food, good ambience and good service. We enjoyed most of the food we ordered but the adobong pusit it's not bad but it's not good, as well as the baked scallops. The kilawin tanigue, tuna belly, sisig, gambas, chicken inasal and tinola are all good. I can recommend this place since they are affordable with good serving portion.

Nice seafood restaurant, with a stunning view. Got to watch the sunset. Food was tasty - got the clam soup which I recommend as the clams were massive, and other dishes which were all tasty. Service was good.

You have the food and drinks for your taste buds and tummy, and you have the scenery for your eyes and soul. 😊 I really love nature and I found it relaxing and amazing coz I can have a spectacular panoramic view of the places below. We ordered Tuna Panga, Calamares, Tinolang Seafoods and Pancit de Cebu. I totally loved the Tuna Panga and the Pancit de Cebu. For me, they are definitely mouthwatering. I also like the mango sauce for the Calamares. However, we are a bit disappointed with the Tinola coz the Tanigue is not that fresh anymore but the shrimps and Tambayang (Clam Shells) are okay. They are all attentive to their customers and you're not going to starve for sure because they serve the food as quickly and efficiently as possible. We'll be back there some other time and try other dishes so I can give you more updates. 😊

This place has opened to the public too early in my opinion. The roads must be sorted out for the amount of cars that want to go here . It was a weekend when we visited and there were so many people visiting. The catering in the small pizza shop and other places to eat were so crowded and nowhere to sit . Ps the pizza was yummy 😋. We visited her some years ago and loved the place then. And I was surprised to see what is happening there . Obviously the viewing places are crowded as you can imagine and the views are fantastic as before . I suggest you come here using flat shoes because the paving near the viewing area is uneven. If they had waited a bit longer before opening again even though it is a soft opening I think the problems could be sorted out . Good luck with what you are doing there .

The place is beautiful and chilly at night must bring a sweatshirt when intending to stay long. We waited for a while due to place was full. The food was great and neutral as per taste wherein you can add flavour to the dish as desired. The price is reasonable and there is no entrance fee when dining in, just need to show the receipt at the guard house when leaving out.

When the weather is cloudy, the restaurant is as good as the food it serves. It was a memorable lunch trying the various Philippine cuisines. Affordable and delicious food never go wrong.

Went to this restaurant with my colleagues while exploring Cebu City. The place is huge, very open and spacious. Even if the place was crawling with people, it did not feel crowded or cramped. The view was the obvious highlight, food was mediocre, and service was fast. Prices are average.

Me and my family were in awe when get inside. The view is heaven, the experience of eating in Top of Cebu is heaven because you get 2 relax, eating with a beautiful nature and view of the city, enjoy every delicious meal ordered and the crew are so attentive & friendly. Top of Cebu will take care of you. I can vouch 4 it. All their food is worth every penny, so delicious!

The drive up the mountain is great until you turn off onto an unpaved road. We went at night and it was foggy so the last mile was sketchy. Probably better to go for sunset, but the view of the city lights was absolutely worth it. Everything we ordered was great and the mango fruit shakes were so good we ordered more to take with us.

The food is so delish...They serve mostly Filipino dishes and their serving is enough for 3 to 4 persons, depending on the appetite..😂...The location is overlooking the city lights which contributes to the overall ambience of the place...cozy and homey...It is highly recommended to make a prior reservation to avoid wait times as they usually get booked especially on weekends..🙂

Had a fantastic time celebrating with the newlyweds and closest friends at Top of Cebu Restaurant. The location atop the mountains of Busay offers a breathtaking view of the city. Despite the thick fog, we were still able to see the city lights and stars shining bright. The restaurant provides a romantic and serene atmosphere, perfect for special occasions. The view is great, seemingly humid but windy. Great food selection. Most items in the menu are Filipino-Dish based, but with a phenomenal twist. I love how creative the process of cooking there evidently is. We weren't able to take pics of the food since they seem to be begging to be eaten fresh from the oven. Hats off to the chef!

Great experience in daylight but I suggest visiting TOPS from 7pm til 5am with clear skies. Foods are everywhere on the ground floor. For the meantime they are still working on the site. GCASH and PAYMAYA or BANK Transactions are not yet available, preferably bringing Cash on Hand.

Awesome view but food and service sucks. It’s so hot around lunch time. We had to keep asking for our bottled water repeatedly and it took so long to get them. They had already served us all the food and still no water!

It’s great to have meal with the magnificent view of Cebu. The food was okay, staff are friendly. However, do remember to check your bill as we found two mistakes from the bill. I would say 8 out of 10. 4 marks were from the view.

I don't have pictures of the food but I assure you they're delicious, except for the Sinigang. I'm used to super sour Sinigang, which we didn't find here in Cebu. The view is beautiful though. Too bad, it was cloudy and rainy that day.

Its still on its soft opening so dont expect too much. The city lights are still amazing. I guess their bus from it to tops is helpful but they still need to organize it a little bit better so people will not wait that long.

This place is great, If you wanna unwind with nature and a good food this place is for you. You will not regret to come and visit this place because not just a good view and a delicious food, the staffs are very friendly and accommodating they will approach you and anticipate all of your needs specially Mira one of the staff. La Vie Parisienne La Brigada de Cuisine of French and Italian in Gorordo Ave. 📌 371 Gorordo Ave, Cebu City, 6000 Cebu 📝 The ambiance is inviting and beautiful enough with colours lighting up your dinner experience. Yet, the place was indeed fancy with its vallet service and good looking french uniform girls doing services but the overall quality of the service is lacking and slow, and didn't expect it at all. The place is gorgeous for fancy dinner experience with fine dinning utensils set. But mostly they set your mood down of how crowded inside the front desk and by the way for now it is also self-serve meal. The food prices set is (₱₱₱-₱₱₱₱) it is also dissapointing that how the prices of the food is high but lacking service to you. The restroom. Yuck. They haven't made changes for the messieurs comfort room for the last time in 7 years, highly discourage for the fancy dinner set. 🤏 The food we get is margarita pizza, double pasta linguine with bolognese sauce and toppings with mushroom, bacon, and tomatoes, and lastly ice cream (gelato) with flavours of coffee, cheesecake, chocolate, mango, and etc. Margarita Pizza is quite fair, the taste is simple with mozarella cheese of base of the saltiness with the basil, But the dough is still raw, the toppings is easily to separate with the knife exposing the raw dough at the top and the pizza was hard to cut that you need to hire a carpenter. Bolognese Bacon Linguine, the pasta was good, nothing in fine quality, the pasta is freshly made, and the sauce is good either. But overall the food was nothing as fancy but low standard restaurant quality. The gelato, its ice cream is freshly made but some of the flavours are setting a bad taste especially with mango flavour expecting to be sweet and tangy but turns out to be sour. ⚖️ Conclusion: It is between bad and good, I'll give it a fair "okay but you need to improve what I stated above" not worsing it, I do my reviews honestly with good or bad experience, but the setting is sour. But I still recommend for this place for drinking wine or cheering drinms with your friends. I'll give it 2 out of 5.

Wine: We tasted the new wine they have, and it was superb. It was great compared to the usual wine they have and the beer also was fine. The environment was slightly hot outside even when it is night time that is why I recommend wearing comfortable but classy outfit going there. When we also asked for ice, the other three servers did not entertain us even though they were not busy. I cannot recommend this place if you are looking for affordable chill out experience because the food and drinks were expensive. But, if you can afford, then much better. Ambiance: The interior design of the cafe was amazing. Also, the environment outside was nice except the flooring because there are a lot of unnoticeable holes and many guests tripped on it. Overall, the place is very romantic and the designs were fantastic. I would really recommend this place for those who want to explore and for those who are looking for romantic location. For average people like me, we really have to prepare our pockets for us to have the best experience. Thank you!

If you have friends who have images of the concave room filled of wines, there is a hype about this restaurant. I came here specifically for that one. But, to my surprise, I enjoy the ambiance; the restaurant is old, and the upholstery needs to be replaced, but it is a charming spot to eat. They also have valet parking because the location is too small to accommodate the crowds. Wine is inexpensive; you can get a bottle for as little as 450 pesos if you just want to try it. Their menu is limited, and their prices may be higher than those found at malls. But, hey, you came for a reason, so don't hold it against the pricing. Their charcuterie is okay, and the pasta is acceptable. The drawback is the food ordering process; there is always a line and orders are still written on paper receipts. There's also the customer who asks a lot of questions about wines and cheeses... so there.

The place is along the highway so it's easy to find. It's very instagrammable too so it's perfect for date nights. This is not a restaurant wherein the staff will serve you, it's a self-service restaurant so you will have to go to the counter to order. The menu is a bit pricey for a self-service restaurant. What you're paying for here is the ambience but there's nothing really special with the food.

This place is super cute, eclectic and awesome. It is a bit expensive, and we had to pay extra for butter which didn't come out with the plain bread, and you have to pay an entry fee and for WiFi, so it's an 'everything is extra' kind of place. The decor and atmosphere is cute though. I would recommend, just be prepared for all the additional costs.

I am from Dumaguete City. My wife's cousin suggested thi place when I asked her where to eat in Cebu. The interior of the restaurant is appealing to the eyes, inspired by French bistros. It was fun to be here and the lights during the night were very entertaining to my eyesight.  They offer products from sausage to cuts and cold cheeses. They have 30 different flavors of Gelato. I didn't know the taste of Gelato was so good and it was my first time to try gelato and I didn't regret it. I will surely go back to this place to eat gelato again. I tried their Pistachio and Ferrero Rocher it has a rich taste and very satisfying to my taste buds. I'd highly recommend to buy a selection of their wines so you could feel the ambiance especially during the night.

Had an amazing night here, we only ate a few snacks. The place is nice, lighting is good. They even had a replica or a mini Paris which is great. At first when we arrived, some of the staff are not that welcoming, or we feel a bit ignored. Gladly one of the staff outside directed us on a seat, and the staff that serve us is also kind.

For foods, they serve nice pizza, I personally love the Hawaiian. Their garlic parsley fries is also a fave of mine. As per wine, I've tried peach wine, raspberry wine. Both are nice and good. As a wine lover, I could finish the whole bottle. For the champagnes, I've tried the apple one and it's so-so. I love fruity flavors but their champagne is not just for me. For the place, I suggest you stay inside. Well airconditioned. The vibes is very Paris and it's really cozy. I don't suggest sitting outside, it's really hot. I was dripping in sweat while sipping the wine so funny. Overall, the staff are nice.

You have to pay an entrance fee to go in. Good place to enjoy the cool weather and you get to walk 3 levels in total to explore this place. They have ice cream, nice small bakery, coffee, beer - nothing special about the food but some nice spots for you to take photos. Service could be better - people are not very friendly. Basically a tourist spot; but a good tourist spot. Lots of koreans here.

They have 100 peso consumable upon entering the place, the ambiance is very french. If you want good photos of the winery you'll have to practice your poses at home first because there is a line waiting for their turn to take a photo. The food prices are quite high so if you want to dine in you'll have to ready your wallets. The night view is also quite nice because of the lighting, the whole place is very instagramable.

Would've been better if the place had updated upkeep. The floor boards were a bit wonky (we were doubtful of its ability to hold our weights). Some chairs were broken and the ACU was broken at its central area (been there both afternoon and late evening). Wine selections were so-so and there's no option for cheese platters and cold cut platters. However food is good once served, we liked their desserts and the gelato was yummy (the matcha flavor tends to melt too fast though). Currently with a ticket system which you can use to buy food. Very busy at evenings and weekends but more charming at night too. Been here less than 5 times.

Its ambience is great! Good for your first date, the food is good 😊 and i think if you like a rustic, old wine cellar theme, this place would be very lovely.

Special place for a special evening with your loved one. No wine list in spite of being surrounded by bottles. You have to find out yourself and see if it's affordable. We settled for a beer and that was special brew. Salad and pizza were good quality. Entrance fee to be discounted on your final bill.

It was my first time there and I had a great experienced in La Vie Parisienne. Easy to locate it's along the road from Ayala. We went there with our friends, I like the chill vibes and ambiance is instragrammable. Different wines displayed and cocktails at the bar. I didn't try their foods but when I will go there again, I'll make sure to try it. Very accomodating staffs when you enter make sure you don't bring foods from the other restaurants.

If you love to chill after a very busy day, this is the place for you. A very nice cozy place. I love the wine racks area. Very Instagramable.😁 I also love the fresh and very delicious ice creams of different varieties to choose from. You will surely love the place.

Visited here with friends for a night cap. Great place to unwind with friends. Good food. Lots of interesting nooks for photos. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Will definitely come back to try their other food items. :)

Food was okay. A bit too crowded to be a date place. Not really into their wine selection but dont take my word for it as I'm no wine expert. Their cheese selection is good and best paired with wine of choice. Place is a bit far from the main city and may have trouble getting a cab fi going home late at night.

Visited this place for the view and the ambiance, and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is posh, especially the main dining area. Definitely recommending to go here a bit dressed up so you can match the atmosphere. There are also seats in the rooftop area, it's just not well lit at the time maybe because there are not that many people dining in. There's also no personnel so it's a bit of a hassle when you need extra utensils, water, or when you need any service at all. I'm not sure if it's always like this, but if it is, I hope they should put someone there to attend to customers who chose to dine with a view.

This is a unique and can be a romantic place when in Cebu. Paris feels. It offers a variety of ice cream, pastries and coffee but get crowded at times. Limited parking space. Instagrammable spots including a wine cellar. A P100 entrance is consummable.

they have more italian then french food. their all meat pizza was good but the pasta was overcooked ! they have a very nice huge open air dinning garden nice lightd and romantic but on saturday night 10.30 pm 3 little girls been running around and nonstop screaming while their parents had a peaceful dinner inside the aircon area ! i complained to the waiter and told him to speak to the parents of these 3 little girls but the waiter did nothing and they noisy girls continued ! he just told me its not allowed to smoke in that open air garden. further they don't show the price of soft drinks on their menu and now i know why because they charged 150 peso for 1 can coke zero. their food prices are reasonable but 150 php is too much for a coke zero. anyway without the disturbing kids and the none smoking rules at the garden it would have been a nice dinner even the pasta was overcooked.

Thé atmosphère is beautiful. It is a nice place to take photos and relax weather you want to have a lite drink or actually eat. They have a nice wine cellar. The service wasn’t bad. However, I found it a little annoying to be seated and I couldn’t order from my table. The food though. Was very good. I had the truffle and mushroom pizza. It was amazing and then I had ice cream which was very good as well. They have a good selection of wines on deck. But you can’t purchase by glass. Only full bottle.

Confusing system of 200 PHP on entry which can be used immediately on food or drink. I assume to deter sightseers that see the wine cellar then leave. The staff doesn’t seem to know much about wine. You can only buy bottles. Very very few of the bottles have listed prices. Only around 10-15 wines are refrigerated. We bought a California Viognier for 980 PHP (fine price) and we received two champagne glasses to drink from. Comfortable and quirky interior with fun decor and a large wine cellar with a subpar selection.

La Vie is a fun place, for a change. It’s a really casual atmosphere and you order at the counter. The only negative that I see is that, the parking is very difficult and slightly dangerous. The driveway is kinda scary going in and out. The prices are very reasonable and they bake their pizza in a wood fired pizza oven. They have a large selection of ice cream flavors. We enjoy La Vie about once a month.

Yes, instagrammable. But pastries here are so good. I will not go back just for the place, but also for the food. There are just limited dine-in tables to cater. They offer a consummable of Php 100 as entrance fee, if you are just visiting to have a look and take a photo.

One of the best places to have Lechon in Cebu. The ambiance is relaxing, the staff are hospitable, and the food is excellent. The Lechon is very juicy and didn't feel oily at all. Will definitely come back when we visit Cebu again. Highly recommended!

Great food! A must try when in Cebu. They offer upgraded casual food options for the family. Service was top notch. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. They speak Visaya, Tagalog, and English well. Place was under slight renovations when we were there June 2023. It was still great but was kind of packed.

Here you can find so many choices of Filipino comfort food. We’re not only talking about lechon here, even the grilled seafood and soup based dishes are great! They have a nice and clean ambience. It has ample space for groups. Service is good as well.

Nice restaurant with really great pork. It’s super busy and I don’t think they take reservations. Everyone was waiting patiently and I think our wait was about 30min, we arrived at about 7pm. Every pork dish is spot on. The roast chicken was also good. The dessert was not bad too! Damages were about 4600 PHP for 6 persons. Not too bad.

Grade: 3/5 stars It may be the Holy Week but I am not happy with the service I received. After ordering, they said that it will take 20 mins. After 40 minutes our grilled food (grilled scallops and tuna belly) came. After another 15 minutes our sinigang na tangigue and rice came. After 20 minutes, the lechon and near the end of the meal, the shakes. I have to go to the front desk 3 times to ask for the drinks. Good thing, Janil assisted us. He is very attentive to our needs, so kudos to him and him alone. The taste: Lechon - so so. The skin is no longer crunchy. Rubbery at most. There are parts that are like jokbal with no taste. Tangigue sinigang - good. Maasim pero di nakakasikmura. Fruity sourness - needs more soup tho. Rice - good. Never have I experienced eating bad rice at any restos here at Cebu. So good job. Grilled Scallops - nice. Too small tho. Missing some things. Not garlicky. Or must be the recipe. Fruit shakes - very nice. I love them. Or must be the fact that I waited so long to drink one. Grilled tuna - very good. The Place: jam packed today. So many people. Waiting is on average 15 minutes so still good The People: kudos to Janil The rest of the staff avoided my gaze as they know that I am going to ask for a followup. So there. All that I have to say.

Truly a Cebu Pride :) We pulled all stops when we dined here and yet our total bill is just around 3000 pesos! The food is delicious, the ambience is great, the staff are so accommodating. It is no wonder this place is part of the tour!

We arrived at about 4pm on a weekend and it was still about 75% full. Food took some time to come. Overall not bad and we were quite satisfied with the food and service. Only thing was the really long wait even though the restaurant was not full house..

Lechon house used to be very good. The lechon is still superb 👌 👏! Vegetables soup is very salty as well as the Dinuguan. The service can be improved as well. There are a lot of people and crew but they are very unorganized , they are running all over the place and does not attend or check on you, there are crew that were just huddling in the corner and not attending customer or ask them if they need anything even if you literally look at them for help. It took them forever to get back to us to give us our card and give us our card. we already thought they lost it or something. Only after we asked for somebody, a supervisor or manager, to get our card.

Cebu is known for having the best tasting Lechon. CNT used to have really good lechon although a lot of other restaurants claims they have the best. The Carcar Lechon that House of Lechon has, carries this distinct taste and aroma that the other lechon weve tasted. Rico's was ok, zobuchon was also ok. The taste was there but doesn't have the crispiness of the skin that was served by The House of Lechon. That made a whole lot of difference. The other dishes served were also good and the price was not that bad either. I just hope that they can sustain the supply and demand to cater their customers. At one time the guards apologetically had us leave since they were already out as early as 730 p.m. But then again, our visit in Cebu is not at all complete without Lechon.

The lechon here is quite delicious, for 2 people I would order at least a 1/2lb serving. The lechon was still being served when we arrived at 8pm. When we left the restaurant at 9pm, the lechon was still available. Found the fish sinagang a bit too sour. Wouldn't recommend. The tuna belly was very tasty. There can be a short wait depending on the size of your group. It's worth it. Enjoy!

A must when in Cebu. This place served a delicious food . I highly recommend you come here lunch time, if you are here like me around 3pm, their lechon will be mostly out and the skin won’t be that crispy. Pleasant service, friendly , most attentive. Since, it was only me. I ordered 1/8 kg of spicy lechon, jackfruit salad and cup of rice. Don’t try leaving without trying the special halo halo. Highly recommended. I will be back

Great experience! Be warned that there is usually a wait to get in, understandably of course. It also takes about 20-25 minutes to receive you order, just be patient it’s worth it! They have parking, and it’s pretty easy to get to, staff are all friendly polite. The food is excellent!

The Cebu Lechon here was good, skin was crispy, meat was tender and not smelly but weird thing was we ordered first kg of lechon and it was served on small plate but the second kg was served on bigger plate with bigger portion. I wonder if my first kg of Lechon was only half kg. We came here on Tuesday around 12pm and the restaurant was full of people, we waited for about 15 minutes and got a place.

The Lechon here is definitely Very Good. JUST OBSERVE THE CROWD. Try to Go between 6 pm and 7 pm. LECHON is good only until supply lasts. Try ordering one size bigger. Ordered 1/4 kg for 2 persons... Really came out short. I should have ordered 1/2 kilo. we had the cheese sticks too . It's very good . Best rated when hot.

Their food greatly improved! (A couple of years ago, we found a maggot on their lechon, manager immediately addressed it and assured us that they will take care of us if we get sick. They even replaced our lechon.) The only setback this time around is their serving time, you can probably tell on these pictures how we were starving and I did not even have the chance to take pictures of the lechon.

First Lechon try in Philippine. The meat with the sauce is great, and the ambience is also relaxing. If you arrived late, it’s likely that the lechon is sold out, so it’s better to make a phone call to check the availability. Halo halo is also great as the traditional Filipino beverage. Worth a try.

Everything we ordered was very good! Food was seasoned well and very presentable. We were lucky to get the last serving of lechon when we got there at 6.30pm. We ordered the Special Carcar lechon, Kinilaw Fiesta Cebuana, Lechon Sisig, Utan Bisaya na may Pasayan, Baked Scallops (it's so good we ordered 2 servings). We ate everything to think there was only 3 of us 😅 We would've ordered more if we weren't too full. So much good food to choose from. Staff were attentive and patient. Nice ambience. This place is highly recommended.

Best Filipino food I’ve ever tasted. Don’t miss the cheese rolls. So addictive. I had to wait to get a table which is always a good sign. I ordered a quarter kilo of original lechon with pork belly, kangkong, garlic rice, cheese sticks, grilled pork belly, sisig and a watermelon shake. I left so satisfied. I love this place. Great to see Filipino families enjoying their food. Lovely atmosphere and top class staff. I recommend.

This is the place where locals and foreigners can safely enjoy the cebu delicacy! Their lechon is top notch!!! Also their version of lumpiang shanghai is to die for! Their service is really good too! Staffs are so respectful and very efficient! Serving time is 20min but food arrived after 10min! Perfect! Ps. Don’t get overwhelmed with the crowd, it wont affect the quality of their food.

I had so many locals recommend me the House of Lechon! When I went, there were maybe 30+ pax waiting in line and the restaurant was PACKED! It was noisy, the tables are so close side-by-side and the waiters are too slow to respond. Food was not as good as expected. Lechon was a bit chewy and greasy. If you want to try some local food, this place seems to be it… but the service, ambience, and food was really lagging.

If you are looking for a tasty lechon - this is a go-to place. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a nice table. We ordered half a kilo of non spicy and the scallops. A must visit for every locals and tourists who wants to try and enjoy Cebuano’s best served delicacies.

Great food, welcoming staff (visited twice - they were consistent). My only complaint is that the place's acoustics were so bad it was quite noisy, and the song in the annex area played on repeat for an hour straight it was driving us insane haha. Seriously though, if there's anything the place could improve on, it's the acoustics because it's so distractingly noisy.

Good service, and perhaps the “better restaurant” in the city. Portion is not huge, food is mediocre; lechon is not as good as I expected, drinks are a bit pricy. Worth a try, but remember it is more like a tourist restaurant.

Expected a lot more from a place with such a good reputation, but was immensely disappointed with the lechon itself. It was not as tender as others I had before. The dessert was alright, nothing exceptional - first time trying the sikwate and it was a bit overwhelming for me. However, the service is excellent and the waiting system using a beeper pad is helpful! Would recommend the kang kong and BBQ chorizo.

It took so long until the waiter came to us and takes our order. However, all the food we ordered were delicious. We couldn’t try everything we wanted since we were two of us, but there were many options which we thought we wanted to try out many more food! The spaces were divided into several room and the main space seemed pretty, but where we were sat was like a dining hall kind of ambiance.

Everything was good. I do think the place is a little bit over-hyped. It was good lechon, and it was good spicy lechon... But it was just that - good. Not amazing. I don't think it was even the best one I've had. But overall - a nice experience and definitely one of the better places for lechon!

We were excited to try "the best lechon in Cebu" ... until we actually did. :( Out of the famous spicy lechon ... okay no problem ... tried the regular. The lechon was served very cold and was not crispy at all. Several menu items were not available. Service was okay but not friendly at all. We'll not be back.

The Sisig was disappointing. It did not taste like any sisig I ever eat before and I have eaten sisig in many many places in the Philippines and the USA and I make sisig myself often. The lechon baboy was ok and the skin was chewy and not crispy. The lechon is mostly bones also.Overall the food isn’t terrible but it’s not that great either. Perhaps I should go earlier in the day because we came to eat near closing and maybe that’s their reason for less than quality food. Maybe….dor what I paid, 1170 pesos, overpriced.

Sinigang meat was quite tough but enjoyed the garlic rice and spicy lechon. Affordable.

Overrated. Came at 4 pm, and every table had dirty dishes on it. Service was slow, waited 20 minutes for the food. Lechon was tough and chewy and there wasnt even much flavor. We didn't finish anything. Getting here was difficult, but that's just Cebu traffic.

Went there after seeing a number of articles and even my favorite youtuber recommending it. Massive disappointment. The iced tea feels like powdered iced tea (sugar attack), the lechon was not really warm and the skin was not crispy at all. The sisig was honestly nauseating, it was soooo heavy and fat. The veggies were not good either. I don’t get the hype.

Rico's unquestionably serves the most delectable lechon, but our experience was slightly marred by a late dinner visit, resulting in a disappointingly gummy lechon skin. The regular variant was already sold out, leaving us with the spicy option, which turned out to be incredibly fiery – a warning to spice-sensitive diners. Surprisingly, the chopseuy contained lechon, a detail we wished we were informed about beforehand. On a positive note, Rico's spiced vinegar proved to be a highlight, earning its reputation as a must-try condiment.

Food is "so so", lechon is like anywhere else in Cebu. Spicy lechon? You can still have that even if you eat at another place and just ask for "sili". Air-conditioning is good. Comfort room is clean. Service? Very xxxx. It took 40 mins+- for our orders to be served.

Before leaving Cebu I wanted to try Lechon and I found this place online as the best to eat it there so my husband and I had dinner at the Rico’s Lechon Escario on Dec 20th 2022. We ordered spicy Lechon 2x1/4, pinakbet, chopsuey and chicharon bulaklak plus drinks. The bill was around 2000php. We were full and kind of liked chopsuey and Lechon itself. Later on I started feeling a heavy stomach, I could not sleep all night, then i got diarrhea in the middle of the night and in the morning I was sick, and threw up what I ate in the Rico’s Lechon. I believe I got sick because of eating pinakbet as my husband did not eat this dish as it contained okra and a bitter local veg.

Best lechon in cebu in my opinion. The skin is just so crispy and tasty!!! The meat is well cooked. Love from Indonesia! PS : try to come out with menu which is suitable for 1 pax 🙏🏻😄. 1/4 kg of spicy lechon is still too much

We came here to have lunch at Rico's Lechon, but unfortunately, I feel dissatisfied and let down by their food, service, and overall atmosphere. Our order consisted of 1 kg of lechon and lechon paksiw, and it took them nearly an hour to serve it to us. The taste of the food was overly salty with an unusual aftertaste, and to our disappointment, it was served cold. Additionally, they were unable to offer us popular cold desserts like halo-halo and mais con heilo because their kitchen lacked the necessary equipment. The ambiance of the restaurant was poor due to the absence of music, and the waiter appeared unfriendly and prejudiced, making it difficult to approach him for assistance.

RICO'S LECHON It is the double apostrophe in the brand line that turns me off. Whoever is the copywriter must be a fan of apostrophe. Cebu’s Best Rico’s Lechon. That hurts the eye of any editor. It is indeed the best lechon in Cebu - according to the people whose photos line up the wall including Duterte, Gibo, Sharon Cuneta, etc. We were there for the lechon. Of course. And it didn’t disappoint. So yeah. It is worth the side trip. BUT because they were on the menu, we ordered the seafoods , all five of them. Kinilaw, Seaweed Salad, Tinola, Buttered Oyster, and Calamaris. NONE of them is delicious. Worst of them is Kinilaw. My theory is that the real chef took the day off after a long holiday season, and some fellow took over the kitchen. The ingredients were there, the flavor was not. So, this was a cook who followed the menu but didn’t have the palate to taste his food. Have you tried a bland tinola? Go! We also ordered two meat dishes - dinugoan which is passable and lechon sisig which is inventive and simply gorgeous. RICO’S remains a must try outlet no doubt. Just don’t go there after the holidays.

Expectation for Cebu’s best Lechon fell so short. The Lechon meat was rubbery and tough, didn’t taste great while the skin was just rubbery and hard. The Lechon served as also cold. We also ordered the sweet and sour fish, it was their first time cooking it and I’m shocked (or not) at the lack of readiness to serve the dish. I’m not sure if this was even taste tested. The fish flesh was tough and the skin wasn’t crispy. We didn’t finish our food because the quality was so poor.

For a crowd favorite resto like this I think additional tables and chairs are needed. Service is good. But there was this one crew I think he is a trainee. I asked about one of the menus and he answered, he is not familiar with that food.

Their lechon tasted great, better than their Glorietta branch but the issue with this branch is that they have a very long serving time. Its more than 30 minutes long. Staffs are inattentive, we’ve been raising our hands to ask for water and to follow up our orders but we felt ignored. Even with billing out it’s difficult to catch a servers attention, so when they served me our bill I stood up and paid the bill on the counter since I cannot wait again for another 10 mins just for them to return my card and receipt. Atmosphere is also not that good, the interiors are fine but we we’re so cramped inside that its hard to appreciate it. AC isnt working well on our area, so, a bit sweaty and uncomfortable.

I got here at 10:05, but they were still closed, they hadn’t opened. One of stuff opened the entrance gate, but she was not smiled and looked she didn’t want to open. And about Lechon, they didn’t have Lechon at that time. I was so disappointed because I expected to visit there and have lechon.

Organized as there's no plan! Everyone running all over, tables are so close that when you slice something might end up on someone's else plate! At least their spicy lechón was good. No bones and mostly balanced with the fatty parts. But after eating paying your bill is also an experience! Queueing to pay in a restaurant must be part of their same organisational plan.

Tastes good and affordable. Good place to go if you want grilled food. Staff are also really nice.

Larsian is a place where you can dine and eat chicken/pork barbeque, grilled pusit, and more grilled food. There are also other food available like sisig. This place is good to hang out with your friends or a venue for birthday celebration. This is also a place to chill. Food and drinks are not expensive. You can eat here according to your budget and it is a safe place.

Nice place if you're looking for bbq or grilled foods. It's very affordable and the ambiance is so cozy. It was clean place too but the service is bit slow.

It's a good place to eat street food in this area, especially around nighttime. When the lights on every stall lit up, the display of fresh seafood like tuna and squid for grilled are very tempting! The Pinkish perfectly round Cebu chorizo is also one of the highlights for grill aside from pork and chicken. They do offer mixed seafood soup of your own choice, which is a good side dish. The restroom is better compared to what it was before but still needs improvement. The handwash station doesn't have running water around that time, which I find not good at all. One thing I also observed is the excessive use of plastic cellophane, which I find it as not environmentally friendly. They use cellophane to cover the plates that everyone used for eating, and the cellophane gloves if one doesn't want to get their hands dirty while eating their food.

Their foods were good, but the place was so dirty even the chair and table were very dirty that I didn’t wanna stay there long. Better go to Sugbo Mercado if you just wanna try a local market.

Reasonably priced with a delicious glaze. The glaze is like CRACK for reals. I recommend the bright pink pork skewers, similar to nam neung. Get some rice with your meat and it's a very filling meal. I spent 135php and was very full afterwards. There are sauces available. I recommend squeezing the juice out of the calamansi (the small lime looking fruit) to add some acidity. The only downside was that the tips of almost all our skewers were burned.

Excellent food, very nice people working there. I left behind a bag with some items of value and we came back minutes later to find it gone, but the vendor who served us called us over right then because they secured it for when we came back. When you go in all the vendors are calling you over. Look around first, try a little bit from each and device l decide what you like for yourself.

Loved the taste of meat they serve! Best for late night cravings. Near to South Bus Terminal. We ordered Chicken thighs and bacon, it was delicious.

There is still room for improvement with regards to the range of food and drinks options, ambience, tables and seats, and space. But nonetheless, I had a great experience with the food and customer service. For sure I will be visiting again soon.

There's a lot of stalls selling almost the same but of course the difference is how they prepare it and the sauce. Make sure if to bring an extra shirt with you if you're planning to go to somewhere else after eating at Larsian. Really recommend Smiley's at Larsian. Their Baked Scallops is to die for also their White Marlin.

Larsian’s ambience and cleanliness have improved a lot since it was renovated a few years ago. Sure there are the vendors hawking at the gates but just say thank you and go look for a table and they won’t bother you. We just chose one stall to buy all the food we wanted, which was actually the right thing to do because we found out later when it came to paying the bill that orders can get mixed up when they come from multiple stalls and so you might end up paying for some things you didn’t order. Food is affordable. 10 buttered scallops was PhP 150, Stuffed grilled squid was PhP 150, and small BBQ was PhP 7 a piece.

The place was aesthetic, relaxing, and kinda like peace. Perfect for a fine date with your loved ones. Food is delicious simple and yummy. Price is affordable we didn't expect it will be a cheap price. Worth the price of the food MUST VISIT!

I was introduced by a friend to this restaurant. I was set to go to Lantaw, and place I've been to a lot of times, and I am really glad I listened. They serve high quality, well presented and delicious authentic Filipino dishes at a very reasonable price. The place was packed including their patio, so the servers were running about and not very attentive to our table, but was gracious enough to snap a photo of our group.. I enjoyed this dining experience.

Parilya is a must-visit restaurant, especially for a delightful evening dining experience. The captivating view of the surrounding lights from nearby establishments and the beautiful lighthouse at Il Corso adds to the enchanting ambiance. Though we couldn't get a table inside due to the crowd, dining al fresco turned out to be a pleasant surprise for my post-birthday celebration. The staff's attentiveness was impressive; they were always just a call away when needed. I can imagine that lunch at Parilya would be equally enjoyable with its location right across the sea. I highly recommend this restaurant and gladly give it a perfect 5/5 rating.

The food was A chicken bone in which is flavorful and the rice is warm and wrapped in a banana leaf with achara as our sides and green mango shake for dessert. Loved it! The place is perfect for family gatherings, meetings, or just about anything. The view is amazing as you are greeted with a great ocean/sea view. Overall it was worth it.

This restaurant beautifully located. Wonderful sea view and nice place to bring the family for Sunday lunch. Food even though was nicely presented could still be improved. Tuna Panga was kind of burnt. We were expecting larger portions for the dishes.

The food was okay, for American Fare, in Cebu City. The only real problem I had, was the mashed potatoes & gravy. Not very good at all. Otherwise, very good for the money.

The place is still affordable for its type of food and generous servings. We were disappointed as the Brian's ribs were no longer as delicious as before. It tasted bland, rubbery and just simply lacking. The servings were no longer as generous too. The death by chocolate cake is still as yummy as ever though. Smaller in size too. :'(

One of my Go-To places to dine-in. Whether I am alone or with friends. I enjoy the meal that comes in a pretty well price in-terms of the ratio of, thr amount of food you get from an order. I suggest going for Buffalo Wings! It is one of my personal favorites, Golden Chicken Fingers and Roasted Chicken. Their Surf & Turf is also something I highly suggest that you should try.

My first time to try Sugbo Mercado in Cebu and we love the combination of Cebu Streetfood, home-based favorites during the pandemic, and local Cebuano favorites like Balamban Liempo. Love the Tuslob Buwa, the crispy chicken skin, humba rice and lechon baka rice, and green mango shake. It's a great place to try Cebuano Streetfood in a safe clean place. Go earlier to avoid the main dinner crowd at 7pm. There is a restroom but you can go to Mcdonald's across or Starbucks if you like a more cleaner restroom.

Great place to find food and spend several hours during the evenings on the weekends! Here you will find a large selection of Filipino favorites, as well as a lot of western food! I really enjoyed the live music and the overall vibes of this market! It is also located right next to a big park and right in front of a mall, so you can spend several hours in the area and not be bored!

Great place to visit to treat yourself! Very well organised place, however it can get crowded! Diversity of food is just right and you will be coming back for more. Hope to revisit on my return to Cebu as especially the oyster I had were just amazing!

I’ve never had to wait for a table to open up. Everyone is friendly and people are having a good time. A must visit if you are in the area. I recommend doing a full lap before you commit to a single food stall. Be warned that the hours and days open change…

I always drop by Sugbo Merkado whenever I'm in Cebu. The foods are great and have lots of variety. The foods available include Thai foods, lechon, Korean foods, ramen, tuslob buwa, milk tea shops, barbeque, and many more, plus a variety of value meal options. You can bring your friends and family here and enjoy the ambience and food. There are free tables and chairs for dine-in, but be sure to clean as you go. This is located within the IT park, so it is very convenient if you work nearby. This is also within walking distance of Ayala Central Bloc.

Foods are great. Location is also the best as it is in the middle of IT park. With so many food stalls to choose from, you'll definitely not gonna go home with an empty stomach. After meal, you can have a peaceful stroll around IT park. Taxis, motorcycles and jeepneys are also readily available once you're ready to go.

Great open air night market perfect for foodies. There's a lot of variety in terms of food options, from meals, desserts, and drinks. Place gets really crowded at night and it's a struggle to find chairs, so try to come earlier. Otherwise you'll have to find someone willing to share a table with you.

An outdoor food park with a wide selection of street food around Asia. Location was great and the place itself was well maintained. It had plenty of food stalls to choose from. Tables were everywhere so it was very easy to get seated. My only huge gripe about this place was the price. I thought it was kind of expensive for a place like this.

One place to get many good foods. Restaurants from all over the city have booths in Sugbo Mercado so go there to get a good variety of good food options at an affordable price. Most items are very delicious and under 200 php. It gets very crowded as it gets later. After 6pm you'll have a hard time finding a table so get there early.

Best 🫡🫡 I come here most of the time with me and my girlfriend plus our little fur baby 🐶. Though you have to wait for people to eat since not much vacant seat. All in all it’s an amazing place to be! Lots of foreigners from all over the world enjoying different cuisines. Thank you for this!

I know you can see videos of this place as I had, However. Until you come here and experience all of the sounds, amazing smells (and of course the wonderful flavors), you have no idea what you are missing. Excellent central location inside the Cebu IT Park. Many options you will want to return again and again. The one small demerit is the lack of credit besides G-cash..and no one carries much change.

Sugbo Mercado is a large space where you can find a large number of food and drink vendors. The food offering is wide and there are options for everyone. You can find beef, pork, chicken steaks. There is fish and seafood too. You can find local food options, also rice, chips, salads, etc. To drink, in addition to cans or bottles of all types of soft drinks, you can find smoothies, juices, etc. There are also options for dessert, including ice cream or pancakes. The atmosphere in the place is very pleasant. there is live music. In the place there are many tables for you to sit and eat. Sometimes you have to wait a little to sit down. The prices of food and drinks are very reasonable, for example the calamari in the photo is 170php, while the ribs cost 290php and the steak is 230php.

The selection of food is awesome, they have almost everything from grilled, to baked, to pan seared. One of the main concerns though is that you have to fight for the space to eat.

Perfect place for a special occasion. The food and cocktails are amazing and the service was outstanding. I would recommend reserving ahead of time so that you can get a table in the main part of the restaurant for a better atmosphere. It is expensive, but you are guaranteed good quality and value for money.

Had a short layover in Cebu and I'm so happy I got to try this gem 🫶 Servers were so nice and welcoming. We had luggages and they set them aside safely for us. I loved where we were seated because we got to see the open kitchen. Cocktails were really good and reasonably priced (especially the Dill or No Dill and Amaretto Sour). Everything was so yummy, but if I had to choose a favourite dish it would be the gnocci 🥹 It was so unique and was my first time trying something like that. One regret I have is not trying more of their desserts!

Phenomenal. We have stopped here two nights in a row because it was so delicious. We have ordered half the menu at least between the two nights and have loved every item. The drink menu is large and very detailed, there is something for everyone. The staff are so friendly and I appreciated that they asked about allergies during our order. Food came out quickly and was beautifully prepared every time. It looked like art. We couldn’t say enough good things, highly recommend.

Came here with my family on our last few days in Cebu. I just wanted to try their vegan menu. I enjoyed both the broccoli salad and the pumpkin risotto. Personally, the fruit crumble could have been paired with a creamy based vegan ice cream to balance the tartness. Otherwise, love the restaurant and the vibe.

Second time here, same dining experience. Excellent service and cozy ambience. Food had good flavors but needs a bit more salt maybe?☺️at least for me it does - my preference. Great experience, especially for Cebu City. Gourmet offerings like Truffle Mac and cheese topped with Pork Belly. Good but the pork belly didn't stand out and truffle effect was not noticeable. The Korean Chicken was phenomenal and the croquettes I found interesting. Wish the cheese inside was more profound. Service was excellent. The restaurant itself was very nice inside and out. Portions on a small side BUT extra filling. Highly recommend

We have stayed in Cebu 5 days and this was the best restaurant we tried. Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The staff is really caring and friendly willing to help if you have difficulty in choosing the food. We ordered Brioche bread, Salmon, Croquettes and Banana dessert. Everything was great. Way better than expected.

Yes it’s expensive but we felt so worth it. Really appealing menu selections. Highly recommend appetizers (brioche!), vegetables selection (carrots!) and desserts (lava cake). Portions not huge but just enough with delivery, taste and appeal so good. Service was impeccable. Interior beautiful as hard to tell from exterior.

Out of the 4 restaurants we tried during our transit in Cebu, this had the best food. Flavor was spot on. Servings are small but they're quite filling. Bonus is there's a vegetarian menu available upon request. It's the actual international definition of vegetarian, not the local interpretation of vegetarian 😏

We traveled for more than an hour through heavy traffic, but the culinary experience at The Pig and Palm made it all worthwhile. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was impeccable. We tried their: Squid Ink Croquettes Cauliflower Salad Miso Glazed Pulpo with Spicy Potato Foam and Bottarga Roasted Gnocchi Confit Pork Belly with Apple Caramel and Mashed Potato For dessert, we indulged in the Bananita, which featured banana mousse, caramelized banana bread, and coffee ice cream. Dining at The Pig and Palm will now be a must on every trip to Cebu. Thank you for the reco @zoilorecto

Great food. Very western standard which means it is very expensive for filipino standards. However, I can recommend it anytime. The drinks were also great. We had a nice time there.

THE BEST DINER in CEBU ! Perfect from the welcome, the service, the kindness , the quality of the food, the presentation of the dishes... SIMPLE, GOURMET & REFINED We are close to a gastronomic level 👍 The starter, the main course was so good that we chose dessert. We chose to order plate by plate and it was perfect 👍 But this is an opinion that applies to all of Asia

Food is super nice. The pics talks a lot. However, no hospitality was found. First, the door of the entrance was broken, then we were forced to break in other tables, which was quite embarrasing. They would do in other way. Second, it was special ocasion for us, but the assigned table was very very small... we had reservation with the note. Quite disappointing instead of less costomers were there. Third, no smile of the staff. I sometimes use this restaurant for delivery, and that's better idea for us.

I was pretty amazed by the ambiance and service of the staff. The food was amazing! The serving size was quite generous, and the staff were all great. Not for the price-conscious, but given the quality of the food and how they were served, I think it's all worth it.

One of my highlights of the Philippines. Restaurant is really good. Quality food, really good cocktails. Coming from the west the price is reasonable too. Staff friendly and competent.

Great ambience and service. Food was delicious but our concern was the portion size. Our server explained that the menu was considered sharing size so we only ordered one meal and a salad for two of us. So we did not get filled up.
