Biography[]
Early Life[]
Not much is known about Won Techentin's early life. She is a daughter of Iney Won and Dr. Kwan Won of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Smith College in Massachusetts.[1]
Career[]
Won Techentin worked as a project development executive and administrator until 2001 at Predawn Productions, a Los Angeles company that develops scripts and produces films.[1]
Later, Won Techentin started working as a TV writer. Her credits include Samurail Girl, 666 Park Avenue, Allegiance, Beyond, Queen Sugar and The Code, among others. She also worked as a producer on Queen Sugar and The Code.
In 2004, Won Techentin was also co-president of My Friend's Place, a center for homeless teenagers in Hollywood.[1] As of today, she is still one of the center directors.
In 2019, Won Techentin co-wrote an episode of ABC's A Million Little Things.[2]
Personal life[]
On February 21, 2004, Won Techentin married Warren Arthur Techentin, a principal in Los Angeles' Techentin Buckingham Architecture.[1] They have one daughter together.
