I see a lot of extremely hated movies like Wish get less hate by people who watched them after the fact so I want to know how many movies are bad even when you have low expectations.

The Emoji Movie

Thor love and thunder, I heard it wasn't as good as Ragnarok. But I expected it to still be quite fun, since it's still a Waititi film, and I love his movies

I really hated it

Xmen Origins Wolverine

Megamind Vs. The Doom Syndicate was about just as bad as what people expected. it's insane how accurate everyone's initial thoughts on the movie were

It actually managed to be worse than I was expecting, even though my expectations were low as the bottom of hell.

In terms for movies I watched in the theatre, I would say XXX: Return Of Xander Cage.

Didn’t see it in theaters but The Marvels

Argylle

Mulan (live action)

It was so bad I couldn't get past the first 10-15 minutes of it.

My family got about half way through before giving up

Kung Fu Panda 4. Saw it even after hearing how it’s easily the worst in the series and I left having to agree with them.

Norm of the North.

Rise of Skywalker. I had been someone who enjoyed TLJ despite it having some flaws, so I was willing to try and work with the movie and make a few compromises to have a good time.

If I didn't have a jumbo popcorn all to myself to eat down I would've left that film after the first 15 minutes.

Honestly I didn't start appreciating TLJ until after I saw RoS. I still wouldn't say I like it, and I would never choose to watch it, but I understand why critics liked it. I just wish they had cut the whole Canto Bight sequence and used that time to develop Luke/Rey more. A Space Casino planet should be awesome, but they completely flubbed it and that whole 30 minute segment didn't advance the story at all and barely developed the characters

I don’t even remember the name. I Sheelocked it.

Sia's Music.

I've had an on/off interest in Sia's work for a while, but when I heard that she made her feature-length directorial debut, and that it was getting absolutely slated by both critics and audiences, I had to see for myself just how horrendous it truly was. This was all the more apparent considering the film's titular character is autistic. And as an autistic individual myself, I feel like I had some level of authority to give my own perspective on it.

By the time I finished watching it, I felt drained and utterly dehumanized. I honestly wish I could've burned the copy I had, but it only existed digitally.

Although there's a certain frustration relating to both Schaff and this movie that I need to vent:

At the time, I was a member of Schaff's Discord server. When I mentioned on the server that I saw the movie, I was ridiculed by the other members for the fact that I didn't pirate the film. And some questioned why I even bothered watching it in the first place. In the end, their attitude didn't sit well with me, and I left that server in a huff.

The Predator

Up there for the worst movie I've ever seen

Props to Prey for being one of the single biggest course corrections in cinematic history

I didn’t expect puss in boots 2 to be bad, but I expected it to be on-par with the first one. Turned out to be one of my favorite movies of the year.

Toy Story 4

Not with EVERYTHING people said (cough cough That one YouTuber that Insulted Everyone Who Liked The Movie and The people who worked on it cough cough) but with a lot of what people said, I did agree.

Mulan (2020)
