War 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to 2019's blockbuster War, has just received an interesting update!
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Yash Raj Films, the studio behind War 2, has brought onboard Spiro Razatos, the widely popular Hollywood stunt coordinator known for working on some of the biggest movies of the past decade.
Razatos has been a stunt coordinator on movies like Fast X, Fast & Furious 9, Fast & Furious 8, Venom, Captain America: Civil War, Captain America: Winter Soilder, and Kong: Skull Island, among many, many others.

Razatos has already worked on multiple Bollywood movies as an action director and stunt coordinator. Some of the Bollywood movies that Razatos has been involved with are Kites, My Name is Khan, Ra.One, and, most recently, Jawan.

War 2, which will star Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, is slated to release in 2025. War, which starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, was a massive box-office success, raking in over ₹475.62 crore internationally.

While War was directed by Siddharth Anand, War 2 will be directed by Ayan Mukerji. It will also star Kiara Advani and John Abraham. No other detail from the movie is public at the moment apart from its tentative release date, which is August 14, 2025.
The report by Pinkvilla quoted a source close to War 2, who said, "Award-winning action director Spiro Razatos, who is known for his stunts in blockbuster action films like Captain America: Civil War, Captain America: The First Soldier, Fast X, F9, to name a few, will now design and execute an action sequence that will blow people’s minds. He has started working with Ayan closely and has very ambitious plans to give Indian audiences action set pieces that they have never seen before!"

War 2 is a highly awaited movie, and another addition in YRF's Spy Universe.
Other films in YRF's spy universe include the already released Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3, and the upcoming movies War 2, an untitled female-led film, Pathaan 2, and Tiger vs. Pathaan.
