  • What documentation do I need?

    Just the information on your passport and boarding pass.

  • What can you tell me about privacy?

    Personal information obtained by the system is used only for boarding procedures.
    Facial images obtained by Face Express and other information that can identify you individual is automatically deleted within 24 hours. If you would like to know more about privacy, please go to Customer Privacy.

  • What if I don't want to use it?

    Customers who would prefer not to have their face photographed during boarding procedures can use staffed counters and gates that do not bear the Face Express logo.

  • Do I need to pre-register or pay a usage fee?

    No.

  • Which airlines and terminals are using Face Express?

    At present, All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Japan Airlines (JAL). For the locations of their counters, please check the terminal floor maps.

  • Are facial images retained?

    Personal information, including facial images, is automatically deleted within 24 hours after registration.
