Notes
December's Children (And Everybody's) is the fifth American studio album by the English rock band the The Rolling Stones, recorded August 8, 1963 – October 26, 1965 and released on December 4, 1965.
Performed by:
Mick Jagger – lead vocals (all tracks), backing vocals (1, 2, 7, 8, 10, 11), tambourine (10)
Brian Jones (5) – electric guitar (1, 2, 5–8, 11), acoustic guitar (3), slide guitar (12), harmonica (4, 12), organ (8), backing vocals (3)
Keith Richards – electric guitar (all but 9), acoustic guitar (5, 9), backing vocals (1, 2, 5–8, 10–12), co-lead vocals (5)
Charlie Watts – drums (all but 9)
Bill Wyman – bass guitar (all but 9), backing vocals (3)
At that time, the song "Get Off of My Cloud" was already in the charts, it was already a hit (the single was released on September 25, 1965), so when the album was released for the first time, some copies (not sure if all) had on front cover the sticker "Including THE ROLLING STONES' smash hit GET OFF OF MY CLOUD ", in red text (see pic), which advertised the presence of this famous song between the songs of the LP.
After this album was released, another album's song became famous by climbing the charts, "As Tears Go By", which was released as single on December 18, 1965.
So, on some subsequent re-releases of this album was applied another sticker, "Including THE ROLLING STONES 'smash hits GET OFF OF MY CLOUD and AS TEARS GO BY," in black text (see pic), which advertised both the songs that were in the charts.
For the above reason, the first pressing of the cover are surely the ones with the first sticker, that says "Including THE ROLLING STONES' smash hit GET OFF OF MY CLOUD" in red text.

referencing December's Children (And Everybody's) (LP, Album, Repress, Stereo, Audio Lakewood Pressing) PS 451
Bleh, the stereo treatment on this sounds absolutely horrible, maybe my copy is beat up to all hell but this is just not it. It sounds like it's drifting to the left channel and has weird echoes. Don't ever trust the cover when it says 'electronically-reprocessed'referencing December's Children (And Everybody's) (LP, Album, Repress, Stereo, Audio Lakewood Pressing) PS 451
Horrid wonky fake stereo other than Look What You've Done. Get an older mono copy, not any of these stereo ones.- The sound on US mono copies is excellent. The US fake stereo copies sound hideous, except for ‘Look What You’ve Done’ which is glorious, true stereo.
- Edited one year agoMan this album is a mess!
The sound is horrific, all the instruments blend together to create a tone that makes it sound like your ears are plugged. Side A is truly awful with a Hellish live version of "Route 66" and the truly unpleasant sounding "She Said Yeah" cover.
Side B is overall better sounding until the nightmare live version of "I'm Moving On" with super unpleasant tones. This reissue is just like the original mono in the sense that it's mega muddy. I used to have a G+ original and I thought the album sounded bad because of the noise.
Nope, it's just a bad sounding album in general. Lots of cool songs, this is a nice collection (aside from the live tracks), so this isn't a knock on the actual music. But the sound gets a big thumbs down from me. - Agree with the preview above. Not interesting muddy sound, not worth having. I am telling about exactly this edition, don’t know about other presses.
- I Have this one sealed where it doesn't say
PRINTED IN U.S.A. in the right bottom of back cover.
Includes the red sticker (including the rolling stones smash hit get off of my cloud) which normally was included with the first pressing.
How do we know it's a reissue ? - Edited one year agoTitle correction of track 4: the correct title is: "Look What You've Done"; track 7 - the correct title is: "Get Off Of My Cloud".
- If anyone has just the sleeves (both inner and outer) i'm looking to buy just the sleeves for this release I have the media but no sleeve. DM me if you happen to have an empty sleeve you're looking to part with. thanks.
- "Get Off Of My Cloud" is stereo in this release, just like on the album "Hot Rocks 1".
No other "December's Children" releases and "Hot Rocks" releases (that is: "Hot Rocks 1964-1971") have this one in stereo!
