BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Bismarck families are encouraged to register now for the free Gateway to Health Event at North Dakota’s Gateway to Science.

According to a news release, the event promotes the health and well-being of children, families, and community members while having hands-on activities, free access to Gateway to Science exhibits, Hands-Only CPR training, the chance to sign up for services, and more.

Emergency equipment will also be displayed for people to get an up-close learning experience, and food trucks will be set up for business.

Two-hour time slots are available for families to register here. The times are from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 12-2 p.m., and 2-4 p.m. Those who register can enjoy guaranteed access to all the exhibits as part of the event during their time slot, along with promotional items.

“We are pleased to once again work with local partners to promote community wellness at a local level as part of our vision of North Dakota as the healthiest state,” said HHS Community Engagement Unit director Krissie Guerard. “Participants will find fun, interactive displays supporting physical, financial, and behavioral health and disease prevention.”
