Biography
Bolko I was born in about 1253 in (Of) Legnica, Wroclaw, Poland. He was the son of Boleslaw (Piast) Legnicki and Hedwig (Anhalt) von Anhalt.[1]
Bolko I died at the age of about 49 on 9 November 1301.[1]

He married Hedwig von Anhalt, daughter of Heinrich I, Prince of Anhalt-Aschersleben and Irmgard von Thuringia, between 8 May 1242 and 18 October 1242. Boleslaus II, Duke of Liegnitz married Alenta (Lolanta, Adelejda) of Pommerellen, daughter of Samborias II, Duke of Pommerellen & Dirschau and Mechtild von Mecklenburg, after 1260.2
