Lady Amelia Windsor is one of the most fashionable members of the British royal family today. And, unlike most royals who avoid social media completely, she's very active on Instagram.

"Twenties is madness," she shared in an interview, "you have to learn not to be overwhelmed by life and... try to keep dancing." Here's everything you need to know about the 27-year-old granddaughter of the Duke of Kent:

She's Prince William and Prince Harry's third cousin — and 43rd in line for the throne.

Born Amelia Sophia Theodora Mary Margaret Windsor, she is the daughter of George Windsor, the Earl of St Andrews, and Sylvana Tomaselli, a lecturer in history at St John's College Cambridge. George is the eldest son of Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent and Katharine, the Duchess of Kent.

When her parents married, her father had to renounce his position in the line of succession because Tomaselli was a divorced Roman Catholic. In 2013, though, his position was restored thanks to the 2013 Succession to the Crown Act.

Lady Amelia's older siblings, Edward, Lord Downpatrick, and Lady Marina, renounced their places in line when they confirmed themselves as Roman Catholics, so she is actually the only one of her siblings to have a place in the line of succession. She has a tattoo of three bear cubs to honor her siblings, according to a profile in W magazine.

She works in fashion.

Lady Amelia has worked in fashion both on and off the catwalk. She interned at Chanel, and for Azzedine Alaia, Dolce & Gabbana, and Bulgari, and has done designer collaborations, including with Salome and Pretty Ballerina.

As a model, she is signed to Storm Management. In February 2017, she appropriately took to the catwalk with a golden crown for Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week:

Lady Amelia has said she hopes to combine her love of fashion with her passion for sustainability. "We’re all aware of the huge plastic crisis and the effect it’s having on our planet," she told The Telegraph. "Fashion has a key role in that, but then also there are ways we can deal with it. Stella McCartney is someone to look up to in that sense, she makes the bigger point in her collection that you can be sustainable and stylish. That should be something that everyone really looks for when they shop now…."

Amelia lives in Notting Hill, London.

After graduating University in Edinburgh, she moved to London. "This is my first ever place of my own in London - it's extremely exciting for me!" she told House & Garden in an apartment tour in 2019. She lives with her sister, Lady Marina.

"I love the buzz here," she said of the neighborhood. "There's a happy atmosphere in the market every weekend, wonderful music and delicious smells of food. The flat itself is small and cosy and has light streaming in in the morning from our little terrace. It is a peaceful place, perfect for us two and full of our collected memories. We aim to make it a little sanctuary amidst the busy-ness of London life."

She has a loyal Instagram following.

Though most royals shy away from social media, Lady Amelia often posts on her Instagram account @amelwindsor, and she has over 100,000 followers.
