Marc Alaimo
Does anyone know what became of him? He’s been off the radar for pretty much everything For nearly 20 years
He's building the statue that the wretched, ungrateful Bajorans refused to build. Don't worry, they'll pay...they'll all pay.
According to IMDB he's done some voicework for a couple video games since DS9 ended, as well as an episode of Family Guy, but I suspect otherwise he just considers himself retired. The man was born in 1942, after all, and would have been 57 when DS9 finished - he probably decided he'd had a good run as an actor and was out when nothing major came his way soon after DS9 ended.
He's 78 years old. I doubt he's really looking for new work at this stage in his life (especially with the Rona about). https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0015826/
He was in the DS9 documentary the other year.
He's patiently waiting for a new star trek to come along that is worthy of his talents.
I’m patiently waiting for a new Star Trek to come along that is worth watching.
Might I suggest Star Trek Continues?
I would assume he is still burning in the fire caves.
He’s old.
I wonder if he would be up for a reboot of deep space nine, from Dukats point of view..
Mmmmm. That’s interesting
Chilling with Vilos Cohaagen on Mars
While making some side cash as a beret model.
Still doing cons and pretty much retired from acting. I've been going through his back catalogue lately and there's a lot of fun stuff in there – he appeared on almost every popular TV show in the 70s and 80s (mostly playing villains/henchmen), so he's shared scenes with everyone from Wonder Woman to The Incredible Hulk.
For those who have access to NBC online, his "Hulk" episode called "Nine Hours" (S3/Ep 22) is really incredible and shows his talent out of the heavy makeup (and as a good guy, for once!).
Good to know! I haven’t gone back to see those. In my mind the beginning of his career was ds9, not really the end.
Any idea where he retired to?

Ha. No. I just always find it fascinating when people who are successful On the stage simply fade away
Yeah, I think he had a super-full career PRE-Trek. There are like 90+ things on his IMDB – everything from soap operas to episodic TV to movies. He was also very involved in theatre as a younger actor.
I've tracked down and seen a lot of his movies/eps (it's the pandemic, I enjoy his performances), and he never phones it in. Just a solid actor.
I know that his son worked on The Closer, and I think Major Crimes.
I'm gonna bet like many Trek actors, he did the convention circuit afterwards.
I never seen him on ones I was around
He does Vegas every year. He and Jeffrey Combs (Weyoun et al) and Casey Biggs (Damar) perform readings from Shakespeare plays as part of a show they call "What Shakespeare Leaves Behind." I'd probably go to Vegas to see that alone.
Really? That would Be great
His voice is now unfortunately totally shot even from just a few years ago.
Any idea what happened?
No, could just be that he is 20 years older since playing Dukat.
He's done some panels at ST conventions. There are videos on youtube.
