An Alumnus of the New York Film Academy, Jackky Bhagnani is a Bollywood actor, who made his debut with the 2009 sci-fi romance Kal Kissne Dekha. However, he gained recognition with the mildly successful F.A.L.T.U, which marked the directorial debut on ace choreographer
Remo D`souza in 2011.
After appearing in the commercially and critically unsuccessful Ajab Gazabb Love in 2012, Jackky was cast alongside Priya Anand, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Verma, and Amitosh Nagpal in the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Naadodigal titled
Rangrezz. Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie won rave reviews, however, it failed to do well at the box office. Playing the role of Abhimanyu Kaul, a young man who is forced into politics after the death of his Prime Minister father, Jackky was next seen in the 2014 drama Youngistaan paired opposite
Neha Sharma.
The following year, in 2015, he was cast alongside
Arshad Warsi and
Lauren Gottlieb in the satire comedy Welcome 2 Karachi. Making his debut as a producer, Jackky was associated with the
Aishwarya Rai and
Randeep Hooda-starrer biographical drama Sarbjit, which went on to become a critical and commercial success. He then went on to produce the 2018 romantic comedy
Dil Juunglee, which stars
Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem in leading roles. As an actor, Jackky`s 2018 projects includes the Trisha Krishnan-starrer horror-thriller Mohini, which marks the actor`s Tamil movie debut. His other release includes
Jawaani Jaaneman and
Coolie No 1. He also produced
Bell Bottom (2021) and Ganpath: Part I (2022).
