After ten long years of waiting, Agnes (Lea Salonga) finally receives the much-awaited petition to join her mother in America. But as much as Agnes longs to reunite with her mom, Agnes is devastated with the thought of being away from Jerry (Aga Muhlach), her long-time boyfriend to whom she is completely dependent on. Agnes and Jerry's distance from one another eventually lead them to end their relationship and part their ways. Filled with regret, Jerry gives up his job to travel to America and be with Agnes. But by the time he arrives in America, Jerry discovers a whole new Agnes.
