I spent one night at The Clarendon Bantry Bay as i needed to just step out of life and find a place to EXHALE. The minute i walked in i was greeted with the most welcoming and warm smile then shown to the amazing balcony overlooking the Atlantic Bay where i already felt happy and stress free.
The rooms are spacious and there's a 24hour bar service with an amazing breakfast after i slept like a log which was much needed. I checked out the next morning feeling rejuvenated and i can definitely see why tourists or even locals love this property so much. Beautiful paintings to view as you are escorted to your room and there are 16 rooms in total. Each one individually decorated. This property should be on everyone's bucket list as it ticks all the boxes. Well done to the Team.

The best personalised luxury Guest House in Cape Town. Staying in either of the two guest houses is equally wonderful and staff make it personal for a returning guest. The guest houses are upgraded yearly for the past 12 years of frequenting it. Top recommended accommodation.

This is the only hotel to stay in when in Cape Town - We had amazing service and an incredible stay!
From the moment we stepped foot into this ideally located, 5-STAR, beautiful property, with the most stunning view, it was evident that we were in for the most special weekend and what an amazing weekend we had! The accommodation provided the most luxurious experience as the bedroom, bathroom and patio was spacious and beautifully furnished. It was perfect! Our morning breakfast was delicious and served to us as we looked out on the most beautiful view of the bay and ocean. We encountered the most wonderful friendly and personal service provided by Shirley and her team as nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure a memorable stay. Everything from arrival to check-out was wonderful. We can’t wait to return to Cape Town and to the Clarendon Bantry hotel.

we stayed at Clarendon before staying at another hotel in Cape Town. The location, the view, the cleaness were perfect. Nothing to complain. However, after comparing with another hotel in the region and spending a few days in the city, we quickly realized that the price we paid for our stay at Clarendon was well overpriced. we agreed to pay this price when we booked and have nothing to complain about. However, after the fact and learning more about South Africa and in particular Cape town, we would recommend to anybody looking for a first class hotel in Capte town to budget $200-300/night. Not $450.- like we did.

We recently visited the Clarendon Bantry Bay and what a spoil the visit was! Beautiful views, friendly professional service and amazing extras and rooms. From the booking , prior to arrival communication and arrival itself we were treated like special guests. Swimming pool, verandahs and best breakfast experience all around.

We stayed at The Clarendon Bantry Bay as a base whilst in S Africa for our son's wedding...choosing it for it's close proximity to family and friends also attending the wedding
We booked a Superior Room, but on arrival we were shown by Shirley, the wonderful hands on Proprietor, to the magnificent Penthouse Suite on the top of the building. Simply gorgeous!
Throughout our stay we were overwhelmed by the gracious and personal service extended to us by Shirley. She and her Staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble to ask, and we were made to feel completely at home.
The hotel is small and boutique, with stunning views across the bay.
It is conveniently situated for quick and easy access to Fresnaye, Bantry Bay, Camps Bay and Sea Point, and is only a 10 minute car ride to the V & A Waterfront.
We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone considering a stay at the beautiful Cape.

Amazing 6 nights at this stunning guest house located high on the cliffs above Bantry Bay. The rooms are beautiful, the view breathtaking, the staff unbelievably helpful & courteous & the whole atmosphere very special. This emanates from the delightful owner Shirley who makes all her guests feel spoiled from the moment they arrive. By the end of our stay we were on friendly terms with many of the other guests as the whole intimate set-up is conducive to conversation.
The pool area is perfect for relaxing after a day sightseeing and the breakfast is delicious.
The Clarendon is perfectly situated for enjoying the best of Cape Town & the surrounding area.
Can’t wait to return!

From reception to departure, we experienced very good service at the Clarendon, as we have every year for the past 10 years. Every wish was fulfilled, the staff is friendly and courteous. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The cleanliness is excellent. Especially now in Covid times, the team takes the necessary precautions and we never had the feeling that we were not safe. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I were celebrating our 35 wedding anniversary on our first trip to Cape Town. We could not have picked a more beautiful luxurious hotel to celebrate in. We loved how nicely decorated our room was and it was very clean and comfortable with such an amazing view of the ocean. The breakfast options were delicious and we had the pleasure of meeting the chef. I can't speak highly enough about how wonderful, friendly, and accommodating the staff was; they made our stay even more special. My husband calls me a hotel snob and I was completely impressed and satisfied with The Clarendon.

Fantastic location. Staff were wonderful with outstanding view’s of the ocean Rooms could not be better. Can’t wait to go back breakfast is the best and only 8 mins from Waterfront there is free parking also

Cant help with that but we were there in mid January and it was great. You may try the other clarendon down the street, maybe they can help.

I am sorry but I cannot quote rates for Clarendon Bantry Bay. I am just a traveler, you will need to contact them directly. I did throughly enjoy my stay there and hope that you do as well. Safe travels.
You cannot walk to table mountain - better to have a car or use uber - stunning view of sea and could walk to beach but better to drive. The concierge service - very helpful as it is small and personable and they aim to please. You can view the rooms and request your room and there may be a price difference between sea and non sea view! Have a great time --
