Second visit to this hotel. Just as good as the first time. Fab rooms sea or mountain views. Spacious. Great restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location for sight seeing. Outside restaurant by the pool area. Lots of seating.

We traveled to Cape Town with friends and stayed at the hotel over the valentines weekend. Spacious Rooms, good breakfast buffet, and a great pool. Hotel's location is very convenient to the city / Waterfront as well Camps Bay / Clifton. Very nice weekend stay.

Nice hotel, lovely large room spoilt by preferance given to wedding function and valantines day event.
First day was ok for breakfast and evening meals, nice choice and food was hot.
Not so 2nd day of stay, pool area corden off for wedding function and very little staff for evening meal. Very poor choice, plates cold and so called "hot food" was cold. However others in our group that dinned later in the evening, said there was aditional staff and more food had been put out and it was hot.
After complaints by our Titan tour manager the service and food improved vastly to the level you would expect from this hotel. The manager and staff made great efforts to ensure this continued for the rest of our stay. This was only spoilt by the pool area being cordend off once again, this time for a valantines day event. Clearly if you did not want to use the pool, it would not have effected your stay.

Black mould in shower room and blocked smelly drains. Scuffed and marked paintwork in bedroom. Early morning airport transfer booked via hotel reception failed to turn up! Not an overall good experience or stay!

Requested an upper floor room preferably with sea view, a large room on the top floor with sea view was allocated, thank you.
On my last day, as my flight home was late, able to have another room for a reasonable day charge right up until I left, Many thanks to the lady on reception,
Brendon, you were a superb breakfast waiter, making sure that my coffee cup was topped up without having to ask for more unlike other hotels I stayed in on this holiday, He was friendly and made sure my table on the patio was kept clear of used plates, please pass on my thanks to him.
Sevice, comfort and food was superb, Thank you.

Staying at the President Hotel was a marvellous experience......Superb location..good food and friendly staff...an added advantage is that you can book all your tours ...and Hotel transfers through their desk in the foyer....where the staff are most helpfull.

The hotel delivered more than expected. Accomodation was very good, clean and nice rooms with a comfortable bed. The restaurant had excellent food with service minded staff. Breakfast buffet was also very good with an own chef to prepare your own omelet for your choice of ingredients already from 6:30 AM.

The hotel has plugs for European plugs, but only one in the room. Other plugs are specific for SA. I recommend to get cheap ones from Amazon. Not sure if the hotel has plugs for guests to borrow.
