Waited 45mins after making a reservation. Waitress got 3 tables at once. Seemed like we got sat in the basement because it was two different ambiences.

I love this restaurant! The food was phenomenal and it was matched by our service. We arrived early… Possibly prior to the after church rush. It was starting to fill up as we were completing our experience. That said I would highly recommend this restaurant

10 star service. I cannot speak enough about this place. If you want exceptional service, attention to detail, great food, great drink selections, and a beautiful restaurant, then I highly suggest you RUN not walk, to bungalow!

My compliments to the chef. The meal was fantastic. However, the 20% automatic service charge for 2 guest left a bad taste. Poor business practice.

This was my second visit at this restaurant. The first time I was with a friend for appetizers and drinks. It was ok, so I decided to come back for my husband‘s birthday dinner. We ordered the tomahawk steak, which we shared, the cream corn brûlée, and a salad with drinks. The tomahawk steak was next to bland, I ordered it medium plus with extra seasoning, blackened. Although they had a great fire presentation, the steak was only room temperature, lukewarm at best, as if it was already cooked and then half-way heated up. The cream corn was so sweet as if it was a sweet potato casserole with too much brown sugar. The salad was only a wedge of Romaine with dressing, nothing more. I am particularly disappointed with the price of our meal as it was extremely expensive, and the food does not live up to the hype. The best thing about the evening was our server, Tyrone, who was very knowledgeable and attentive. There are way too many great steakhouses in the city of Houston. You can get a much better value and much better food for the price at Vic & Anthony’s! I really wanted to like this place and I really wanted to support it, but I more than likely will not be back. Sorry, but this is my honest review. Bungalow has a lot of work to do in order to compete with more thriving steakhouse restaurants. Maybe I’ll give it a couple of years and try it again……Maybe.
