Sat having a coffee this morning, the cafe had a early/mid 80's alternative compilation/playlist on. Pretty sure one song was by Siouxsie and the Banshees. Didn't know it - tried to remember the lyrics but by the time I left the only thing I could recall was that it included the word 'movies'.

Any idea..?

Sounds like it might have been "I'm In Love With A German Filmstar" by The Passions, which has that 80s goth/wave sound to it and definitely mentions movies in it.

I love Into The Light too, it gives me a really weird vibe, like a dim childhood memory that's creepy but comforting at the same time.
