Nice and chill professor. Easy workload with a midterm and final. Though exams are lockdown browser with no open notes. There is also a group project and it's hit or miss since its randomly formed in a team of five. The project itself is based on manufacturing and selling cars, so if you have interest in that, you'll love it. If not, yeah well.

Generally pleasant and a pretty good way to cap things off. Exams were not half as hard as he made it sound. Does tend to run out the clock. Didn't post grades on assignments except exams. StratSim is maybe too involved compared to rest of the syllabus and costs $50, one last tuitition insult, but not the worst.

Super nice and chill, easy workload, but exams are DIFFICULT and can make or break your grade. Study guides do not help at all. Completed everything in the class and still got a C just due to the exams. The upside is that he only assigns 1 group project/report compared to other 189 who assigns multiple long, individual reports.

DO NOT TAKE PROFESSOR ROMAN. He's a great person to have a conversation with, but his lectures weren't helpful at all. exams were DIFFICULT and CLOSED BOOK. lots of pointless assignments. study guides were barely helpful. Avoid him at all costs.

I do not like his teaching style and he does not seem motivated to teach the class. This is a capstone class and it didn't feel like that. Also, he mostly gave examples about cars in class and there are people (like me) who don't understand a lot about cars which made content harder to understand. We do a simulation project he barely helps with.

Professor Ron is nice, but his lectures get boring, and the exams are tough. Even though you study the slides and pay attention in class, his questions are very confusing. I don't recommend his class. Exam is on lockdown browser.

Professor Roman has a calm personality, and is very easy to approach. However, the exams were very difficult. Even though you studied the slides, your notes and the homework modules, the exams were asked in different types of questions, so be prepared for that.

Fun teacher, he uses his personal experience as a business owner in the class. The simulation is gonna be fast-pace because its 2 times a week. You got a paper to write 1.5 to 2.5k words, but you should split that up with your teammates. His exams are not that bad, just put reasonable amount of time on studying.

I meant to write this review a couple years ago but I was just thinking about past professors and I must say Prof Roman stands out to me as a really caring and sweet professor! He is such a nice guy and wants his students to do well. Also if you use his study guides then youll do fine on the exams.

1 midterm, 1 final, 2 simulations & 1 debate. EXTREMELY SLOW GRADING! Tests' multiple choices are tricky which means you have to read trough textbooks very well, short essay questions are real painful. First few minutes of lectures relates nothing to the course materials and his jokes can be real embarrassing. BUT won't grade your debate too low.

An easy class; Professor Roman is nice and caring but not organized. You have no idea what your grade would until the final because he does not grade any assignments during the semester. No term paper, just a group debate.

Roma is an awesome professor who encourages creativity, innovation and learning. Not like traditional professors. Has real life business experience and talks about relevant news in class. Read the chapters, pay attention in class and you'll do well. I loved most was his passion for business and teaching. Best Professor I had at SJSU.

Tests are extremely tricky multiple choice. He claims to have talked about it, but we all know he hasn't. He even made the joke that nobody has offered to give him pleasure for a better grade. Very disorganized. Tests you on the smallest details and doesn't focus on the big points. Average test was D or low C (though you feel like you got an A).

Ridiculously easy A for three weeks of work in the Winter. He's funny, nice, and is genuinely passionate about what he teaches. Reading the chapters is the best way to prepare for the quizzes and tests, but you can find a lot of his test bank questions on quiz-related notecard sites (you know the one). I'd take him for every class if I could.

A professor who actually cares about what he teaches. Not only that, but the material is taught simply and straightforwardly. Easy chapter quizzes, some case studies, easy textbook exams, and a simulation project. Class was a breeze but also valuable. Love this guy!

I took this class during winter (January 2019) which was his first time teaching the session. Here is how the class was structured. 1 Final, 1 Midterm, chapter quizzes, a group simulation project. You can see the passion from the professor that he WANTS to teach. Do what you are supposed to do and its an easy A.

Extremely disorganized. You won't know your grade until literally the week before the final. First half of class he rambles about stuff that has nothing to do with the material. Tests are HARD- average was a low C. Ignore what others say, he is NOT straightforward. You have to really love the topic of this class to get through it. He is nice though
