General Hospital Comings & Goings: Nikolas Cassadine Resurfaces!
GH casting updates see Nikolas Cassadine back on the scene now. Currently, Nikolas is serving a sentence in Pentonville for holding Esme Prince prisoner when she was pregnant with his baby.
His mother, Laura Spencer Collins, convinced him to do the right thing and take responsibility for his actions even if it means doing prison time. Of course, she’s heartbroken that her son is in prison.
Plus, she now has custody of her grandson, Ace Cassadine. But she’s also proud of Nik. Indeed, it’s great to see him back on General Hospital. Recently, his ex-wife, Ava Jerome paid him a visit.
She filled him in on her current situation with mob kingpin, Sonny Corinthos. They were able to have a nice conversation and she opened up to him quite a bit.
No doubt, he misses Ava and wants her back. So hopefully, he will remain on the canvas. But there’s a chance that his recent return won’t last long.
GH Casting Changes: Nik Sticking Around?
General Hospital updates recall that Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) recently mentioned that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) will move out of Pentonville to a different prison in another state.
Of course, this is bad news for Laura because it’ll be harder for her to visit him so often. And it’s not good for Nikolas because he’ll be much farther away from everyone he cares about, especially his little boy, Ace Cassadine (Clay twins).
Also, no one will be able to come to see him and he will be completely isolated. Indeed, Ava Jerome (Maura West) may want to visit Nik more often. After all, he’s the only one who knows everything that’s going on with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Ironically, Nik is the one person she can fully confide in about Sonny on General Hospital. Plus, he worries that she’s in over her head and he won’t want to be so far away from her.
Furthermore, it looks like his son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), may come back from the dead soon. And if that happens, he will certainly want to stay in Port Charles.
General Hospital Casting Updates: Spencer Cassadine Recast Ahead?
Right now, everyone in town thinks Spencer is dead. Not too long ago, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) attacked Spencer and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) on a yacht in Paris. Esme and Spencer both went overboard and are supposedly dead.
However, neither of their bodies are accounted for. So, it will be easy for one or both of them to turn up alive at some point on General Hospital. Currently, Spencer’s portrayer, Nicholas Chavez, is working on another project. But he’s almost through filming.
Rumors are circulating that he will return to the soap soon. However, that is not official and there is a good chance his character could be recast. It’s doubtful the powers that be will want to write off his character completely.
Especially, when his romance with Trina is such a fan-favorite. Of course, fans do not want a new Spencer because Nicholas is a huge hit with viewers and has such great chemistry with the Trina actress, Tabyana Ali. He’s won everyone over as Spencer.
And the General Hospital fan base is hoping he comes back. But even if he doesn’t, and Spencer gets a new face, it will still be wonderful to get the character back. GH is full of action and drama. Don’t miss it to see if Nikolas Cassadine will be on-screen for a while and what’s next for him on the ABC sudser.
