The HD video calling feature is the best in Shindig. It's video quality is great. Even in a bad internet condition it performs superbly. To it's other competitors like Zoom and Google meet I think Shindig is the best because of it's advanced features like unique ban user feature and reactions. It's also very convenient. Customization and uploading backgrounds in the event rooms gives you the opportunity for fabulous aesthetics, and makes people really feel like they're "in the room," plus provides you plenty of branding opportunities. Being able to upload heavy video files and play them flawlessly is a great feature. The wysiwyg editor for the event landing page is a little clunky and out of date, but you can work around it.

I really like the fact that when using shindig I can attend large scale meetings with lots of people, from all over the world. I find it more useful than features like Skype and zoom when it comes to extremely large meetings, but only extremely large meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In contrast I really like to use zoom for meetings that are 50 people and under. Some of the features are easier to use in zoom when it comes to being able to work in breakout rooms. However shindig also does a really good job at mediating large scale groups.
