I was recently in San Diego for a convention at the convention center. The Omni is less than a 5 minute walk to the center of the convention center which was perfect because all of my meeting rooms were right around the center - so not too much walking. My room was on the 19th floor overlooking the baseball field, beautiful view! And really, really quiet. I'm not sure if it is because I was on the corner room or if all rooms are that quiet. I will definitely stay there again.

The Omni in downtown San Diego is an excellent place to stay. Offers great amenities (pool, gym, restaurant, etc.) and the rooms are very nice. Located in a perfect location downtown with easy access to the Gaslamp district and many dining opportunities close by. Although we live very close to the area we were looking for a place to stay while our house was being remodeled so this offered us an excellent opportunity to stay and play.

The location is excellent for convention going and night time dining/entertainment. We were within walking distance to many of the attractions along the harbor. The service staff was some of the friendliest and most helpful that we've ever encountered. The rooms were very quiet. We had a spectacular view from a small balcony overlooking the Coronado Bridge at South Bay. Omni is a large hotel, but has a small cozy hotel feeling.

great motel. great location to convention center and restraunts. very clean and friendly. we went there for AFBF convention enjoyed that at the convention center. then we seen the city on the old time trolley that went all over the city and stopped at hot spots to get off and explore. love the weather in San Diego! it was 0 here and 75 there. great place to go in the winter.

Hotel location was perfect for many activities such as Petco Field / San Diego Zoo / the Midway aircraft carrier Museum and other historic sailing vessels. Also many good restaurants located nearby! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Hotel was clean and well maintained! I do wish there was a shuttle to and from airport though.

NASC has three meetings a year in different cities. This was one of the very best places we have stayed. I ordered coffee to the room to be delivered at 5:15 AM and it was there at 5:15 in the morning.

The Omni is situated at the south end of the gaslamp district, next to the Padres stadium. The location is great. For business travel it can't be beat. McCormick & Schmick's has a location right in the hotel. It is a great restaurant. The rooms are well appointed, well maintained, and clean. This is an excellent hotel with caring staff.

Amazing view of the 17th floor. Such a great staff, always friendly and smiling. We felt like such special guests even though we only stayed 1 night this time. We love the Omni and will stay there again!

Conveniently located to downtown and restaurant and bars, close to the gaslamp quarter attractions. Hotel facities are nice and worthwhile for a short stay. Service is excelente, price is reasonable, rooms are quite.
