A satirical look at Parliament from the perspective of a journalist turned Independent MP, Ben White, whose story is loosely based on that of Martin Bell, who memorably trounced the corrupt Conservative Neil Hamilton (who this very day has been named at UKIP Leader in Wales) in the 1997 General Election and who served one term representing Tatton until 2001, when George Osborne (boo) became the new incumbent.
Bill Paterson plays his usual dour Scot in presenting White's bumbling through his time in the chambers, but although this is fairly entertaining, it doesn't really come across as that interesting: in fact the best scene is the one showing White on location in a…
