With two weeks left in the regular season, high school athletes from all over the Diocese of Wilmington are looking at the end of the line or the beginning of the postseason. Several games remain that will help determine tournament seeding or if a team is eligible for the playoffs at all.

The baseball schedule this week is solid, with a full slate of intriguing games Saturday. They include Saint Mark’s traveling to Lewes to meet the powerful Cape Henlopen Vikings, Archmere also heading south to meet Caesar Rodney, St. Elizabeth looking to upset William Penn, and Salesianum hosting highly ranked Sussex Tech.

Lacrosse has something to offer as well. Archmere and Cape Henlopen will get together by the beach for a lacrosse showdown on Friday under the lights. Salesianum continues its national schedule with a meeting in Pittsburgh with Ohio foe Upper Arlington. In tennis, Archmere travels to Tower Hill for a big match on Wednesday.

Don’t forget to confirm dates and times before making the trip. Schedules are always subject to change.
