PROMEL started its first activity in Florence in 1986 by addressing its competences in the field of engineering and manufacturing of mechanical and electronic systems. During the years PROMEL has gradually established its presence in various other sectors: automation & energy, defence & space and manufacturing.

PROMEL headquarters are located in Impruneta, Cascine del Riccio, in the province of Florence (IT). The entire plant covers 3500 m2, 1500 of which are occupied by buildings dedicated to offices, laboratories and to the workshop.

PROMEL S.r.l. and PROMEL Costruzioni S.r.l. are one only corporate with a broad know-how and adequate manufacturing tools enabling research & development and design & manufacturing activities on a very interesting product and specific service range for the following sectors: defence & space, industrial automation, mechanical & electronic components processing.

The various Departments of the PROMEL group, although operating in different sectors, can share information, know-how and resources by offering complete solutions to our customers. The different competences developed by PROMEL have enabled the creation of own label PROMEL services and products. According to the required service branch PROMEL can provide for consulting, design and manufacturing of industrial automation control systems and for the organisation of technical training courses for users.

PROMEL has shown great competences also in the field of engineering from the design and development of electronic and mechanical systems to the software development and feasibility studies. According to this last subject (feasibility studies) PROMEL can take care of procurement engineering by providing consultancy for the preliminary project analysis and its following implementation.

The own PROMEL label products are: coin sorting machines and fire and gas detection systems. The models sold throughout the market can be distinguished by the PROMEL brand vouching for quality and certified assistance.
