Whats old and whats newer are impossible to tell. They have a great program to blend the two. This place is worth a stop. We went while most of the students were gone so parking wasn't an issue. Beautiful old campus. A unique spot is the Crim Dell Bridge. A wooded Bridge built in 1966 that has a urban legend attached for couples who cross it. Beautiful setting amongst the trees. Next to Historic Williamsburg. So much history in this place

While visiting the Colonial Williamsburg area we walked the campus of William and Mary. Lots of history was created on this campus. Unfortunately due to COVID protocols not much was available for inside viewing. Beautiful campus and vet enjoyable to walk on such historic grounds.

My wife and I first went on a tour of William & Mary in 1990 when we were first dating and now 31 years later my son is in his last year here. We loved it back then and love it even more now. It's an amazing school and such a beautiful place to visit.

We visit the Swem library special collections each time we visit Williamsburg. The college is just breathtakingly beautiful. Parking is the one MAJOR drawback. It's confusing and no matter how many times we've gone, it's always a pain. Other than that, the people are nice and we love to wander the campus and talk to the students.

The College of William and Mary is fascinating to stroll through, especially the Wren building. There are lots of great places to sit and read. Or, spread out a blanket in the Sunken Garden & catch some VA rays. William and Mary food is notoriously bad. Luckily, the Cheese Shoppe is steps away in Merchant's Square. Pick up a sandwich & take it to campus to enjoy while you soak up the atmostphere

We happen to be passing just as 2022 Commencement Exercises were concluding. A sea of Caps and Gowns. Smiling faces all satisfied with their achievements. Glowing parents, siblings, mates, loved ones and companions. There is a beautiful, well manicured campus with historic buildings and winding paths to enjoy a nice stroll. Architecture, landscaping and history abound at this historic university.

If you are just a tourist visiting this is a pretty campus and worth a visit. If you are a potential parent of a student looking at it, our daughter is there at the moment and it is an amazing university. I really recommend it. It is hard work, but the staff and other students are all wonderful. It is a safe campus in a small town, but with all the facilities you need. I do recommend it to other parents. Our daughter is so happy there!

What a wonderful college town. Quaint, manageable, safe, and oh so historic! We walked 7 miles touring all aspects of the campus and enjoyed every step.

I was just back at William and Mary, my alma mater, for Homecoming. The campus is immediately adjacent to Colonial Williamsburg starting where Duke of Glochester Street runs into Richmond and Jamestown Roads. The campus is the ideal of what a college campus should look like in my mind. Lots of red brick buildings, tree-lined paths, a sunken garden in the middle of what would be the quad on this campus. It's worth walking across the campus to see the Christopher Wren building, the Crim Dell bridge, and the sunken garden. While you're walking across campus remember that this school was charted in 1693 - the 2nd oldest university in America behind only Harvard. Also realize that this was where Thomas Jefferson was educated before he started UVA and where George Washington was educated as a surveyor. Presidents James Monroe and John Tyler also attended W&M. More recent distinguished alumni include actors Scott Glenn, Patten Oswalt and Glenn Close, designer Perry Ellis, TV host Jon Stewart, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin to name a few. It's a very special place and worth a visit

The college says it has at least one example of every type of tree in the U.S. We tracked down the two redwoods and got a picture of our daughter (a W&M graduate student) with them. My husband and I always have fun when we visit our daughter in Williamsburg!
