solo fallen meta loadout guide

Been seeing a lot of people asking about their loadouts, so I thought I would break it down here. I'll only mention towers that are simply the best at their job and not towers that "work" so don't expect military base or sniper here. This guide is mainly focused on fallen mode but it works in molten/normal too.

Early-Midgame game towers:

Soldier, Militant, Ace pilot, Gladiator, Any gold tower(except gold mini unless ur high level),

You want a good early game tower that is cheap and effective so you can farm up as much as you can. Hidden detection is mainly what makes a good early game tower so you don't need to rely on something like accel or use another tower slot for that purpose. If you happen to be using 2 attacking tower slots for early game you are doing something wrong, or just trying to be wacky. One example is that toxic gunner can be effective in early game but lacks hidden detection, hence it's not too popular

Lategame/DPS towers:

Accelerator, Engineer, Golden/Normal minigunner

Lategame towers are expensive, but very much worth the price. They usually aren't very effective early game (they could work, but I mean, it's going to be slow) and a single one of them maxxed can carry the midgame. I wouldn't say minigunner is much of a lategame tower but it doesn't have a placement limit, is cheap and works very well for the midgame so spamming them all over the map makes it quite viable.

Support towers:

Commander, Medic, DJ, Farm, Golden/Normal cowboy

The only good support towers in the game are those that impact towers and not zombies, so electroshocker is out of the question. Sledger is good but it's a waste of a tower slot in solo since you want extra dps for the fallen king. Golden pyro is good because of its damage, the defense melting mechanic is nothing but a nice touch to compliment its dps but other than that you shouldn't be bringing it for the sake of melting 20% defense off a giant boss.

Sub-dps towers:

Pursuit, Turret, Executioner, Any early game tower you bought, Golden/Normal minigunner, Ranger

These towers are just slot wasters or early-game towers you choose to bring. If you really want to use something like turret or pursuit for lategame then you're gonna have to sacrifice a support tower or one of your dps towers. The good thing about them is that most of them are quite affordable for those who don't have golden/hardcore towers. They are sub-dps however. So you need another tower to support them, or use them to support another tower. Such as using minigunner to support pursuit's wacky targetting or using turret as additional dps to support the minigunners.

Let me know if I forgot something and I'll add it, otherwise this is pretty much it

Honestly you could simplify it by making it into a list of steps (see below)

Step 1. Add your economy tower of choice (farm or cowboy)

Step 2: Add commander

Step 3: If you added farm add an earlygame tower that has hidden detection. Depending on your base hp and difficulty of the map, you may be able to use more expensive towers for this job.

Step 3.5: If you added cowboy add DJ

Step 4: Make sure you have at least 1 lategame dps tower of some kind

Step 5: Fill any remaining slots with any combination of: DJ, Medic, any lategame DPS tower
