“Put these studs on my Simms lightweight wading boots several months ago and they have worked very well. They grip rocks covered with algae or rock snot without slipping and when walking trails they also grip sloped surfaces well. I've used other carbide or aluminum devices and these work as well or better without all of the added weight which is a real benefit for my sciatic legs. And I have not noticed any significant wear or loss of traction since installation. I would definitely purchase for future wading boots.”
“I recently ordered Grip Studs for a pair of the new 2024 Simms G3 boots. I had a question about the correct size. Bryan got back to me right away and after a few pictures and emails we were able to determine the coreect size for the new boots. Bryan even sent a pic back with markings for the proper placement of the studs on my boots. Really pleased with the high level of customer service.”
“The grip struds arrived yesterday (3/5). 1) The woman I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful. She explained everything very clearly and addressed all of my concerns. I couldn't have asked for a more helpfull person to talk with about your product. 2) Besides ordering the studs, we had a nice conversation about how the man from troutbitten who using the studs, which was also very helpfull in selecting which set to order. “I have outfitted my 2023 KLR650 with GST-1300 studs from Grip Studs for winter riding in Alaska. I have done about 350 miles on icy roads with them so far and am really happy with their performance! Solid quality studs. Also, the big screw base makes them far superior to many other stud manufacturers. They anchor well in the tire and aren't at risk of coming out. I have a 1400 mile round trip to Prudhoe Bay planned on my bike with these studs this winter.

The owner of Grip Studs called me personaly to make me aware of the situation and how he was going to fix it. We do our best to ship orders the same day they are placed. In most cases, including yours, we were able to do so. Unfortunately, there are situations that come up with the carriers that can add extra transit time on International orders such as yours. “I have these installed on my 50 HP four whell drive tractor that I use to plow snow, and also use a snowblower when we have a lot. Installed 4 years ago and no longer have to install chains on the tractor. We just installed on a 310 John Deere backhoe that is used by the Highway department. Time will tell but first few times out crew is impressed.”
