Nature in History – Biodiversity Challenge

Dates: Daily, Saturday 18th to Sunday 26th May
Times: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Cost: Free of Charge (But please note that there is a €4.00 parking fee in Glendalough Visitor Centre Carpark.)
Location: OPW Visitor Centre and Glendalough Monastic Site

This is a joint event run by the staff of OPW and Wicklow Mountains National Park.
To Celebrate Biodiversity Week, join us on our free Biodiversity Challenge in Glendalough. Find out how nature thrives in our built heritage. The Biodiversity Challenge should take approximately 30 minutes, and is suitable for all ages. Participants sign in at the Visitor Centre where they will receive a map and a questionnaire. The map will leads you through the Monastic City, discovering Nature as you go.
One lucky participant will win an OPW Family Heritage Card. The Heritage Card gives 12 months unlimited access to over 50 OPW Sites and visitor attractions with guided tours.
