Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, Stuttgart Prize Money 2024
This prize money page is for the WTA 500 in Stuttgart played on clay. The ATP 250 prize money for the grass event can be found here.
Due to the lead sponsor, the Stuttgart Open is currently known as the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix and is a WTA 500 tournament held at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart.
The event began in Filderstadt as a hard-court ATP tournament, but after just one year, it switched to a Tier II women’s tournament in 1978. It remained at the Tennis Sporthalle until 2006, when it relocated to Stuttgart. In 2009, it switched to clay courts and is now a vital warm-up tournament ahead of the French Open.
With one of the world’s most prestigious car manufacturers on board, the remuneration packages are impressive.
The total prize money at the 2024 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is $922,573 (€802,237), an 18.18% increase from last year.
Alongside a brand new Porsche to drive away in, the champion will receive a cheque for €123,480, up 18.2% compared to what Iga Swiatek received when she successfully defended her title last year.
While the runner-up is relegated to taking a taxi to the airport, they still receive €96,225 in prize money, 49.2% more than last year’s losing finalists.
