Hotel's Favourite
The hotel was clean and that’s what is most important to us when traveling. The room was comfortable - had plenty of space for us as well as our dog. We appreciated the little kitchen and the sitting area. It was quiet - not much noise from people above us or around us. Two areas for improvement, in our opinion, would be arriving to a stocked kitchen (pots, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, etc) vs having to request the items after you arrive. They did offer to deliver to our room but I chose to just take a few items with me at check in. I understand why they have it this way but it isn’t the most convenient experience for a traveler. Second area would be improving the breakfast offerings - it was really lacking. Otherwise we give this place high marks!

I am staying at Extended Stay America and the Staff at the front desk offers a Friendly Respectful attitude towards everyone that approaches the Lobby
.When we checked in the Staff accommodated my request for a Room that was for the disabled and close to the Elevator . "Happy!". As our stay became longer due to the "COVID-19 pandemic, We were all "scared" , no one knew what was going on! The Staff , was quick to make sure every room had the new policies for the Covid-19, explaining the changes to the Hotel for safety reasons. There were plexy glass windows added to the front desk for everyones safety.Signs posted everywhere about the Hotels policy for safety! All those Months of not "knowing "what was coming with this Pandemic, the Staff stayed positive.
The room itself was clean, and comfortable. The bathroom has disability bars in the bathroom ,in the tub and around the toilet.With a built in shower chair !
Looking out the window we have a nice view of the sunset at nite and a large lawn with trees and flowers, very pretty.
This Hotel is close to exits and on ramps to 84 East or West. Close to Hartford, Uconn Teaching Hospital, Gas stations and Lots of Restaurants for delivery take out. Also a great Pizza place 1/2 mile from the Hotel.
Overall I really like the Hotel, you will not be disappointed !

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. I had to extend the initial reservation and the staff arranged it seamlessly.
The manager, Jeri, is phenomenal. She is very personable, attentive, and communicative. The front desk staff members were consistently pleasant and courteous, and I experienced nothing but friendliness and helpfulness on any occasion I encountered them. Brian, the head of maintenance, was not only amazing to fix anything that needed attention but also did it with a smile and a laugh no matter how much work had to be done. Lola and Ricky in housekeeping were always friendky and conscientious.
The premises is constantly maintained to a high standard and I was impressed at the cleanliness and neatness each day. The grounds are also very quiet and have an almost park-like appearance.
I have another trip upcoming to this area, and after having this very positive experience, I would not consider any other hotel for my stay.
I highly recommended this ESA.

I called and booked a one night stay on August 18th for the 21st. 3 hours before we're supposed to arrive I get a call from Tina at the front desk stating that the person in my room decided to extend their stay, and she was hoping someone would cancel due to the storm but there was nothing else she could do. So I say so we have no room to come to and she says no. On a weekend when she knows everything will be booked and a hurricane on the way we now have no room. Never at any hotel I've stayed at or the one I work at has this been allowed. What made the other persons reservation more important than ours? I even informed her that the previous weekend we had to call 6 hotels in the middle of the night before we found one( extended stay) and that's why we booked ahead and decided to stay at the same place. But that ment nothing. She didn't even try to check with their other locations to see if they had availability to make up for it They screwed up by allowing this person to extend their stay and we had to pay the price.

I have stayed here several times over the last few years and 3rd to 7th October 2023
I had 2 different rooms.
Both were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, spacious (especially room 314 that is bigger than many one bed apartments)
The front desk staff are welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Seriously lots of places could learn a lot from these guys and girls.
The kitchens in the room are handy and there is ample storage.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Bathroom is provided with plenty of towels, face cloths and toiletries.
I can only think of one way to improve the place and it would cost very little. It would be better if there were some outside seats, benches or picnic tables. There is loads of land around the hotel and this would be a welcome addition.

The room smelled like old lady’s perfume and stale cigarettes. I found beard trimmings on the sink and pubes in the shower. The pillows had stains on them. So outdated and just disgusting! DO NOT STAY here! The smell was so powerful! The hallways smelled too! Gross!!!

Room clean hallways clean, Like the fact of the kitchen area for the so you will be able to prepare food instead of eating out. I like the fact you need to use your keycard for everything. Safety at it's best. Makes me feel safe as a woman traveling.

Check in was a breeze and the clerk was friendly and helpful. Room was big, comfortable, clean, quiet. Staff was friendly and greeted us whenever we walked through the lobby. Great prices. Perfect location along I 84 and close to Hartford.

This hotel is a budget stay hotel, with bare minimum facilities. This is located in a remote place in Farmington .
Pros -
1. Has a kitchenette with decent selection of utensils.
2. The staff is polite and ready to help.
Cons-
1. The cleaning done is on a weekly basis and not all the toiletries are replenished.
2. The breakfast is limited to cereal bars and coffee.
3. The room service is not all that good.

We stopped in the area for a business appointment on our way back to Florida. We had never stay at Extended Stay America before. I realize it is more designed for people who are staying for a bit rather than just one night.
It was just OK. I would have preferred the choice of 2 beds or a king size bed.
We woke up around 4 AM and decided to get on the road so we didn’t take advantage of, what sounded like, a very minimal breakfast. It would have been nice to at least had coffee available when we left.

One thing I can tell you is no I would not suggest any walking in this area. Heavy traffic and not pedestrian friendly. You are close to Blue Back Square. And the area close to Blue Back has restaurants also.

Sorry for the delay in responding to your question! As far as I know, there aren't any two room suites, but there are a couple with two double beds. On our list trip down, our adult son (he's 44!) came for one night to help us move some things back to Massachusetts, and he just stayed in the room with us. It's such a nice, clean, reasonable place, and we were comfortable sharing for one night, but if you need more privacy, you may want to get 2 rooms. I hope that helps ... it's such a personal decision. Good luck!
