What was Tom Hanks thinking? Truly awful casting (at least Meryl Streep and a few of the others can act), leads who can’t sing, and a storyline strung together like the frames of a Sunday comic. “Cringe-y.”

A very entertaining movie certainly, although it came off as slightly unpolished. Amanda Seyfried carried the movie with her incredible voice and compelling emotions. Great ending and beautiful scenery! Recommend for all!
