Hollywood Rose was the foundation for what eventually became Guns n' Roses. Formed in 1983 by Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin, and Chris Weber, they recorded a five song demo in January of 1984. Following a series of lineup changes which included the addition of Slash and Steven Adler, both members of Road Crew, Hollywood Rose split up by the end of that year.
