TWICE's Dahyun has been selected for the lead role in the South Korean remake of the Taiwanese film 'You Are The Apple of My Eye'.
On the 13th, agency JYP Entertainment announced, “TWICE's Dahyun has received an offer to appear in the domestic remake of the movie ‘You Are The Apple of My Eye’ and is considering it.”
The Taiwanese film ‘You Are The Apple of My Eye’ was released in 2012. It is a youth romance that tells the story of the school's troublemaker Ke Jingteng (Jia Jindong) and model student Shen Zai (Chen Yanxi) during their school days and 15 years later, and is a very popular work in Korea as well.
Previously, Dahyun confirmed her appearance in the independent feature film 'Sprint' and became the first TWICE member to announce her debut as an actress. Attention is focused on whether Dahyun will appear in 'You Are The Apple of My Eye' following 'Sprint'.
