The first shorter flight to Istanbul airport I was on a broken seat that did neither move in nor out the leg part, which caused a pain in my steadily pressed legs on this 3 hour flight. The main dish was served in a similar way as you see it in economy class. The steward moved through the rows with a trolley and unpacked the main dish in front of you. Flying business class with many other companies, I have never seen this. The second leg of the flight, a 12 hour flight, was booked for an airbus A300. The airplane to Bali as well as back was replaced with an old Boing machine. Looks to me as on purpose. The room space of this old Boing is limited and they did not ask before take off for our lunch preference, in the end we could not order what was on the menu because it was sold out. As the menu was the same as on our first leg, we had twice the same. Appetizer, main dish and desert all served at the same time. Again, something I never experienced before. The service itself was also very poor. Using the sign to order someone did not work. I had to get up to grab a bottle of water myself. Except for the served food and drink alongside the food, the crew did not bother checking for the passengers. The toilet on the long flight seemed to have never been cleaned at all. It was disgustingly dirty from the start, the bin was overflodding with used paper and the floor was swamped with … liquid, to be polite. It stank! For sleeping you only had a thin layer of seat cover and the space for a larger person was not given. The bed is not long enough and the leg room not wide enough to bend your legs. Funnily, there is lots of space aside, which is of no use. The small locker for your belongings is not big enough to carry an ipad. The holder on the front seat is bend and so small, you can only fit a newspaper in. The only way to store a book or your ipad is on the desk beside, which is dangerous in case of turbulences. Never ever I will fly Turkish Airlines again. It’s not worth the money. I had a better experience even with the low budget airline Condor!…
