This 'Encylopedia's extended title reads: "The Ultimate Guide to Apparitions, Death Bed Vision, Mediums, Shadow People, Wandering Spirits, and Much, Much More". This is in fact misleading. 1st off, its much too small to be a proper encyclopedia. 2nd, the entries are sparse & not well researched. 3rd, what little illustrations this book does have are meager & all blue. + it doesn't even have an entry for The NECRONOMICON! This book is more like a young person's beginner's guide to Parapsychology! i'd avoid this 1 if you're serious about yr occult studies & are out of junior high..

I enjoyed this well written fact-packed book that is interesting and filled with fascinating information covering every aspect of the topic. It is easy to read and also good for reference. The author is to be commended on presenting the usually daunting material in an interesting and readable format. I highly recommend her books!

Constance Briggs is a very talented writer. I enjoyed reading it, everything you need to know about Apparitions is in this book, and she explains everything in great detail. Her book is a great reference book, time and time again i have used it to look up different paranormal related subjects. You will not be disappointed. I would like to see more books from this author on similar subjects. Constance is extremely knowledgeable in this field. A top- notch book. I highly recommend it. Constance was also an amazing guest on my Radio Show, please listen to her talk about this amazing book there also.

Encyclopedia of the Unseen World by Constance Victoria Briggs is an A to Z guide for the realm of the unseen. If you want to know more about the paranormal, this book will help explain some of these things to you.

This is an interesting look at the paranormal. The subjects are listed A to Z, which is only fitting because of the encyclopedia format. Nothing is explained too heavily though, instead subjects are just generalized to give the reader a basic amount of information on each topic. This format works well for the book for the most part though, and readers are always able to do further research on the subjects that stand out to them. I wish it would have explained some subjects in more detail, but I understand why the author couldn't fit it all in for the book. Don't expect more than a few paragraphs on most subjects covered.

This isn't my favorite paranormal book, but it does a good job for what it is. If you are looking for a basic understanding of a broad range of subjects, this is a good reference book to do just that.

The level of information this book contains is wonderful. If you are versed in the subject of the Unseen World or just being introduced, there is something in this book for you. Constance has done a great job in research and investigation on this subject. Although it's more of an Encyclopedia, after reading through it you will be left with a new respect for the subject of the Unseen World. Very well put together.
