Can anyone help me ID / Authenticate this knife?

Question

Found this at a yard sale, was wondering if i found something good. Couldn’t find too much online about it except it might be a custom. Any help figuring out if it’s real would be greatly appreciated!

There’s literally an ID card in the box. I saw it.

Looks like a nice customized buck knife. Have you done a google search for the maker?

Reminds me of David Yellow Horse(?) knives. He’s a Native American that would do similar work, upgrading Buck knives(and probably other brands as well), typically beautiful stone work.

I did do some research, but couldn’t find anything on this particular model. Just wanted to see if any knife nerds on here knew anything about it 😂

Gotcha, off the bat I’d never heard of this maker. But damn, that is one sexy buck knife.

Thanks! I agree 😎

Gonna give you shit about this though. I typed his name in Google, autofill did the rest, literally the second link leads to tons of info. What exactly is it you want to know?

this guy clearly doesn't know knives, and got it at a yard sale. why are we shitting on him for verifying that it is what it says?

Anything I could lol. If it was real, how much it’s worth, model name etc. i’ve looked up the maker but couldn’t find this exact model. figured someone on here might know better than me.

What do you mean real? It appears to be a legitimate Buck knife and I wouldn't have any doubts that the modifications were done by the guy whose info is packaged with it. This isn't the type of stuff that gets counterfeited, and if it does the only logo/markings would say "China" or "stainless steel" and the stones would probably be plastic.

that’s what I was looking to see! never owned a custom before. Good to know. Thank you!

I'm not saying you should sell it, but there's a few on eBay for $700 to $800. Pretty damn sure you got a good deal.

people unacquainted with knives probably wouldn't know those things at all. he said he found it at a yard sale, so for someone unfamiliar with knives they may doubt it is what it says it is. i don't understand all the hate this guy is getting

I'm not hating on him so I don't understand why you're replying to me
