Who Is Farrah Brittany's Dad? Kyle Richards Had Daughter With First Husband

Kyle Richards' daughters are stepping into the spotlight in new Netflix series Buying Beverly Hills.

Farrah Brittany, 34, is the eldest daughter of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and works with her sister Alexia Umansky, 26, at luxury real estate firm The Agency.

The Agency is owned by Richards' husband Mauricio Umansky, 52, who RHOBH fans will recognise from his appearances on the Bravo show throughout the years.

Buying Beverly Hills follows the agents and clients of The Agency, which is, of course, based in Beverly Hills, California and highlights the high stakes world of luxury real estate in Los Angeles.

In the very first episode of Buying Beverly Hills both Mauricio and Farrah open up about their family dynamics and it is revealed that Mauricio has helped raised the star since she was five.

Newsweek has everything you need to know about who Farrah's father is and who Richards was married to before Mauricio.

Who Is Buying Beverly Hills' Farrah Brittany's Father?

Farrah is the daughter of Richards and her first husband but Mauricio, who has been a part of her life since she was just five years old, says in the show that he doesn't think Farrah views him as her "stepfather."

"I certainly don't think of her as my stepdaughter," he says. Mauricio goes on to say he is the father of four girls as, as well as Alexia, Mauricio and Richards have two other daughters together—Sophia, 22, and Portia, 14.

Speaking to Newsweek ahead of the premiere of Buying Beverly Hills, Farrah spoke about what it was like to work with Mauricio on the show.

Revealing how the idea to film the series actually came from The Agency boss, Farrah told Newsweek: "I think he knew that, obviously, people love real estate shows but he felt like they were either all about real estate and kind of not getting to know the estate agents well enough, or it's another kind of show that's maybe more fictitious or a little more dramatized and maybe not as authentic."

"We wanted to be both things—getting more personal with the agents and showing what it's really like, as well as having amazing 'real estate porn' as they say and showing the different dynamic between a truly organic cast," she said.

Who Was Kyle Richards' First Husband?

Richards was previously married to Guraish Aldjufrie and during their marriage they welcomed a daughter, who they named Farrah Aldjufrie.

The couple, who married in 1988 while Richards was pregnant, met at a Tina Turner concert when Richards was just 18 years old.

Aldjufrie is an Indonesian businessman of Dutch and Arabic descent who now lives in Bali. Like his daughter, he is very successful in the real estate world.

Richards and Aldjufrie divorced in 1992 and Farrah now goes by Farrah Brittany, however the family are still very close and Richards often praises her ex-husband on RHOBH.

In a 2022 episode of RHOBH, Richards put their divorce down to the stress of having a newborn and the fact that they married so young. Aldjufrie has appeared in two episodes of RHOBH himself, featuring in Season 1 in 2011 for two episodes to celebrate Farrah's college graduation.

Buying Beverly Hills is available to stream now on Netflix. Seasons 1-12 of RHOBH are available to stream on Peacock.
