This is a great compilation of good 'ol Nazareth classics done live. Intertwined is a lot of backstage and behind the scenes action that shows that the band's true livelihood is "rocking" our world. My only problem with this DVD is that the track listing shows 13 songs and out the 3 copies I've purchased (trying to get a complete one!), THEY ALL ONLY PLAY 7 SONGS!!!! IF SOMEONE OUT THERE HAS A COMPLETE COPY, WITH ALL 13 SONGS, PLEASE CONTACT ME AT mricks44@msn.com!

Its okay. But on both Nazareth DVDS. The song Telegram. Starts out a geuitar, real low gets louder and louder. Niether one has the true begining of telegram.

Being a Nazareth fan, living in the Houston TX area, and being familiar with the concert hall where this was filmed (though it's been since torn down), I was highly interested in finding this. It was disappointing though went I put it on the DVD player. The video quality is poor. The sound isn't that great either. Some of the behind-the-scenes shots are interesting, seeing them driving around downtown Houston, talking on their bus. And there's footage of them hanging out and walking around either Galveston or New Orleans.

The songs are not sequenced (edited) properly on the disc, so that it's hard to go directly to a particular song. You have to fast-forward. Also annoying is some of the poor videos showing over the live music. Would have been better to left the concert video footage for that.

Only recommended for Nazareth freaks.

This DVD is a must for all die-hard Naz fans, because the performance of this 6-piece incarnation of Nazareth is outstanding. Some video pieces and road documentaries are also interesting. But the quality of DVD is beneath criticism. Well, the sound is, let's say, satisfactory, but the video is very bad - it's dark with faded colours. So now you are warned!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but could have been cleaned up for DVD

I remember seeing this on late night TV back in 1984, around the time I'd started to get into Nazareth. I really enjoyed it and have wished ever since that I'd taped it at the time.

I understand that this was originally released on VHS back in the day, and while I agree that the content is excellent and the audio is generally quite good, the main problem is the picture quality. There are a couple of tell-tale signs that the DVD has simply been copied from the original VHS and this appears to be the issue. No attempt seems to have been made to "clean it up", hence the the dark and grainy sequences.

It just hasn't really cut over very well from the orignal video, but I still think that it's a great programme and worthy to have as part of my Naz collection.
