What Our Pupils Say

  • Lily, Former Moss Hall Junior School pupil

"I really like it at CCF – the atmosphere is humble..."

“...Everyone works very hard and we are challenged to reach our potential by being pushed to our limits; it started to become too easy at primary school! I have been playing the clarinet since Year 3 and have continued to learn this instrument at CCF and I play in the school orchestra. Settling into Year 7 has been easier than I expected with the older year groups being so respectful and helping us find our way around. I take part in a lot of after school clubs and particularly enjoy being part of the girls’ football team. Attitudes towards the sports have changed since the Euros and my ambition is to be a professional footballer. I am also interested in Psychology and may study this at university.”

  • Leo, Former Martin Primary School pupil

"I want to go on to study at university and be a games or graphic designer."

“Before joining CCF I thought it was going to be hard to find my way around, but the teachers and pupils have made it so easy; there is a very good environment and atmosphere here at CCF. I belong to the football club and I also want to join the table tennis club. There is a lot of fundraising at CCF to support activities for other year groups – if you give kindness it comes back to you. I can’t wait for the school trips and am hoping to go to Disneyland Paris or skiing."

  • Mizuki, Former Moss Hall Junior School pupil

"I recommend joining lots of clubs to meet a wide range of people and make friends..."

“...The Year 9 pupils have been amazing in helping us find our way around the school and supporting us with getting familiar with life at CCF. I am involved in the Mandarin Excellence Programme and will be learning to speak Mandarin and taking the GCSE. I also have the opportunity to be selected to take part in the school trip to China. My future ambitions revolve around swimming and I would like to go on to university and be a professional swimmer.”

  • Zara, Former Frith Manor Primary School pupil

“I am looking forward to my time at CCF and working hard by pushing myself to study more.”

“I didn’t come with many friends from my primary school and I thought it would be hard to make new friends – it has been the total opposite. I joined lots of after school clubs, including netball, which has helped me make many new friends.I don’t have a career in mind yet but will take full advantage of the careers advice at school and following my true passions.”

  • Ibrahim, Former Martin Primary School pupil

“After university I want to follow a career in Medicine and be a Doctor.”

“I enjoy the majority of my lessons, especially Maths and PE. I have been chosen to play for the school football team and have already played against Compton and Saracens – I love football and have been playing it since Year 2. It is easy to make friends at CCF, just go and speak to others and find out if you have any similarities. I am looking forward to more challenges in Year 8 so I can improve both academically and in football.”
