Is there a Spanish equivalent to Wikipedia in Simple English? Or extensive websites/magazines/texts aimed at non native speakers?
I know Wikipedia don't have a Simple Spanish version but I don't know if there is anything similar elsewhere...
There is this online Spanish language encyclopedia, which is described as being for children from 8-13 and for Spanish language learners. According to Wikipedia it is also available in French.
BBC Mundo, the Spanish language version of the BBC news site is written in very accessible Spanish. I find I can read more or less everything on the site without use of a dictionary, but go to a native Spanish language newspaper and I can't read a thing.
