4. Select Cancel Membership.

5. Choose a reason why you want to cancel YouTube TV, then select Continue Canceling.

6. Select Cancel Membership again to unsubscribe from YouTube TV.

What Happens When You Cancel YouTube TV?

If you paid for a subscription to YouTube TV, you can continue watching until the end of the billing period. After that, you lose access to YouTube TV and any add-ons you purchased. What Happens When You Pause YouTube TV?

You have the option to pause your YouTube TV membership for up to six months. Once you pause the subscription, you can continue watching until the end of your billing period. After that, you lose access to YouTube TV, and your account isn't charged again until the time you specified.

You're charged at your previous rate as soon as the pause period ends, and that date becomes your new monthly billing date. Your old recordings will remain, but YouTube TV won't record anything until you resume.

It's also possible to cancel or pause your subscription from the YouTube TV app for Android and iOS:

1. Launch the YouTube TV app on your mobile device and tap your Profile icon.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Tap Membership.

5. Tap Cancel or move the slider to choose how long you wish to pause your subscription and tap Pause Membership.
