It's finally time to see who the four teams competing for a national championship will be.

The final rankings of the College Football Playoff are set to be unveiled on Sunday, and the only remaining drama appears to be for the final two spots.
With Georgia and Michigan winning their conference championships, there is little dispute over who the top two teams will be. But after No. 3 TCU lost in overtime to Kansas State in the Big 12 championship and No. 4 USC lost in a blowout to Utah in the Pac-12 championship, there is some speculation over who will occupy the third and fourth spots.
Will TCU remain at No. 3 after losing its perfect season in overtime of a conference championship, or drop to No. 4 or even out of the picture altogether? Will Ohio State jump to No. 3 or make its presumed jump to No. 4? Can two-loss Alabama crash the party?

What time are the College Football Playoff rankings released?

The final playoff rankings will be released at noon ET on Sunday. The remaining bowl matchups will be announced throughout the rest of the day Sunday.
CFP rankings schedule 2022
This will be the first time the College Football Playoff rankings are not announced on a Tuesday evening. The committee has revealed each other one at 7 p.m. ET, with the exception of Nov. 15, at 9 p.m. ET, when it was announced between Kentucky-Michigan State and Duke-Kansas at the Champions Classic college basketball event.

There should be no surprises with the top two teams entering the College Football Playoff. A pair of undefeated conference champions, Georgia and Michigan, will lead the rankings. TCU is expected to remain at No. 3 despite its loss in the Big 12 championship game.
With USC's 47-24 loss to Utah in the Pac-12 championship, the Trojans are all but guaranteed to drop out of the top four, which paves the way for Ohio State to sneak back into the College Football Playoff picture.
Alabama lost two games by a combined four points, but no two-loss team has ever made the CFP, and the Crimson Tide were listed behind Ohio State before championship weekend with no games for either team left to play. While Clemson beat North Carolina in the ACC championship, the Tigers lost games to Notre Dame and South Carolina down the stretch to eliminate them from playoff contention.
