It is worth every penny paid for it.
For example, on page 198 there is the name of a person and his title, followed by:
Ask your employees, "What do you think of our business?"
Then a tag that says: "Talk to the workers in the trenches."
That's all you get for page 198, and that's the structure of the book. Many of the quotes are good, so if you are looking for a book of quotes then maybe this is for you.
If only there was an Amazon review of this book available before I bought it. I suppose someone has to be the first to post a review.

I wasn't going to write this comprehensive review if it wasn't for some negative reviews and what another reviewer "Inma" mentioned.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself:
As a refugee and an immigrant I grew up poor and in a ghetto. I have seen it all and experienced most of it. I have worked for pennies. I kid you not, I remember doing online related grunt work for 0.10cents that was back in 2002-03.
Today I own a company that is worth millions of dollars, and I also have a fund that's worth millions and I achieved all of it doing very simple basic things that I have found 99.99% of population miss and yet they blame others.
I spend a lot of time listening to what people say and what they do.
In the last 16 years trying to build my company I have learned one thing, if you are poor or stuck in life, then you have one major flaw and that is: YOU THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING.
I have noticed this with my friends, family and people who I meet or talk to when they ask me about business and life and how to be successful. Every time they talk to me and I tell them the very basics they say they know it. And I always tell them it's one thing to know and another thing to do it day in and day out.
Growing up in Canada as an immigrant, I didn't have an edge but after reading a book or two that helped me think better I realized that I have to do just do few simple things day in and day out.
At my first job here's what I did to get a promotion:
1. Be early at work
2. Leave last
3. No holidays, I never took a holiday or sick leave.
4. Say, hello, how are you, thank you, please, you are welcome
5. Show respect to everyone no matter what their position
6. Disciplined at work, putting 100x more than others in everything I did. I tried to get good at what I was doing every day a little bit either by reading a book or listening to an audio or just taking part in discussions on online forums (when forums where a place to discuss things)
I did this day in and day out for give or take about almost 1.5yrs - 2yrs in the job, when one day I got an email from the boss that he would like to see me.
I had no idea why would he want to see me because other than hi/hello/how are you, I didn't talk much with the boss. I always reported to my seniors.
When I arrived he told me to have a seat and then he said, "I have been observing you since the very first day since we hired you, that you are always the first at the office (my boss who later became my first mentor was always the first person that came to office in the morning), the last to leave, you have not taken any days-off or holidays."
At that moment I don't know what hit me I said to my boss, "What made you mention this to me after all this time?" He said, "I was keeping an eye to see if you are serious or you are just playing around. I wanted to make sure you are the real deal."
Without any further talk he pushed a paper for me to sign, I asked him what was that he said agreement for the new position and promotion.
He assigned me the leader for his new project with increase in pay, I went from making $2k a month to $10000 a month.
His company went on to make millions and millions of dollars. Last I checked they are worth few billion dollars and they are one of the leading websites on the internet.
Now you could say I got lucky, but it happened to me again and again from that job to next and to my business and eventually my own fund.
Don't be fooled by simple ideas in this book as some people have mentioned.
It's not the ideas it's about execution and doing it day in and day out.
Great book and I thank Mr. Trump for compiling this information because even after 16 years of my experience I still learned something new.
There are so many lessons learned and great pieces of advice that couldn't really put down all the things I learned. One major advantage is that the advice is not strictly Trump speaking but people he respects so you get multiple viewpoints.
This book is a collection of amazing business stories and advice. I love this book and have bought several copies over the years for friends.
A word of warning - the pithy little summaries on each story were clearly written by somebody else than the business leader who submitted the story. Get a sharpie and cover them them up. They are inaccurate and don't reflect the depth many of the stories possess.
