This was a very informative tour of Mount Gay Distillery in St. Lucy. Akeel is very knowledgeable, and was a great tour guide. The rain definitely did not stop our jam!

This is a wonderful excursion we took right off Carlisle Bay! Didn’t see any turtles but that shipwreck was sooo cool! We will definitely do this again.

Worth getting up early to see the race horses bathing and even being ridden in the sea by the beautiful Peebles Beach. Be a little wary of the offer to let you have your photo taken with one of the horses after which they then ask for payment. But that doesn’t spoil a lovely morning and an unusual sight.

We visited the races whilst on holiday in Barbados, and were fortunate that our hotel was within a short walking distance to the stand.
We watched the racing from trackside, so didn’t cost anything.
There was a great atmosphere, plenty of food/drink stalls and betting kiosks should you want to place a bet.
The best thing was how close we were to the horses.

Wonderful experience. Museum was very well done. Hard to believe some of the graves were several hundred years old. Oldest synagogue in the Western Hemisphere!

Went on a thursday to see the museum. i would budget 1-1.5hr for this. interesting historical exhibits. the admission price is definitely right, and they give a discount to folks with mobility issues. Pushing a wheelchair around is doable in most of the areas, but they do have a rather steep ramp to the upper area and the office for tickets is not really accessible.

Located at the top of Broad Street, the historic Parliament Buildings (once known as the Public Buildings) are home to the House of Assembly and Senate. Close enough to the cruise port to make the effort to walk down to see.
