<p>Michael Andrew Green Sr.,65, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 14,2021. He was born on March 4,1956 at St. John&#39;s Hospital in Springfield, IL. The son of Harold E Green Sr. and Marie S Green(Meyer) of Springfield ,IL.</p> <p>He gradated from Lanphier High School in 1974. He worked as a drywaller for most of his life many of those years where with family at McDaniel Drywall and the later switch to the drywallers union where he later retired from. He loved to play horseshoes, fishing or just hanging out pool side having a few drinks with his family and friends. His had his first child Jane Thatcher(Smith)(Husband Jim Thatcher)of Hannibal, Mo in 1977 with Donna Smith.&nbsp; He then married Donna Green(McDaniel) in July of 1978 they had two children.&nbsp; Amy M Green(fianc&eacute; Jeremiah Burris) of Springfield, IL and Michael A Green Jr. (wife Stephanie Green) of Clarksville, Tenn. Donna and Mike divorced in the early 90&#39;s but remained friends. He then married Brinda Green(Murray) of Springfield, IL&nbsp; in November of 1999 and then became a father to her 3 children. Son Casey Mathews(wife Tiffanny Mathews) of Riverton, IL, Daughter Candi Murray (boyfriend Zach Squires) of Springfield, IL and Son Zach Murray of Springfield, IL.</p> <p>Mike was the youngest of 6 children. He was preceded in death by his mother Marie Green and father Harold Green Sr. along with his oldest brother Harold Green Jr. He is survived by his 3 brothers Ed Green, Gary Green, John Green(Wife Barb Green) and 1 sister Barb(Green)Selby(Husband Andy Selby), his wife Brinda Green,&nbsp; his 6 children, 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.&nbsp;</p> <p>We will be holding a celebration of life on Sept.4,2021 12:00 pm at The Village Tap 305 E Jefferson St in Riverton, IL. we will be having&nbsp; horseshoe tournament, silent auction and 50/50 raffle. the proceeds will go to cost of the cremation and medical bills.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
