Humming bird V3 Mods
Iv'e been reading about all these great modifications for the Hummingbird, but they all seem to be on V2 and earlier. Also, Helihobby has a lot of good stuff for the HB. Can I assume that anything that fits the V2 can also fit the V3? If not, what are the differences between the two?
Here are a few item that was interested in but all say for V1 or V2: Fixed Pitch Turbine Swashplate Hummingbird Fixed Pitch Dynamic Adjustable Head Hummingbird G10 Frame with struts and skids Hummingbird One Way with Titanium Shaft and Main Gear Twin Tail Motor Mount and tail Guard Kit Boom Replacement Kit (is ther ea benefit to the aluminum boom?) Thanks jeff |

be very careful about what you get from helihobby. Anything they make custom, often is of bad quality or just doesn't fit. The quality stuff they resell like the Duzi parts or G10 stuff, you're safe with, but stay away from the others.
You'll also find that these parts don't make a huge amount of difference. The best upgrades for your hummer are things like: lipos Head stiffener Ball in Swash Wood blades (like90's) Then you look at stuff like brushless motors Direct drive tail All the stuff like aluminium upgrades, cnc heads..etc, are flashy, and may help somewhat, but not a great deal. It's also more to damage when you crash. |

I use the new V-3 head stiffener in my V-2. Doesn't break, just like Century said.
