Just returned from a excellent trip to Boracay, lovely island great white beach and will return soon. After staying one night in a more expensive poor hotel we decided to look for somewhere else to stay and came across this hotel just a few minutes along the fabulous beach. This is the new part of the hotel on the beach ,set further away is the older section of bungalows around a pool we didn't visit there so can't review that part of the hotel. On arrival found the reception welcoming, staff very friendly and the owners two lovely dogs entertaining. Our room even though not huge was spotless with a great bath and shower, comfortable bed and a small balcony really just for drying clothes.Bottom line if you are looking for a budget hotel that is modern clean and safe I can highly recommend Alice in Wonderland.

I just got back from Boracay after a 3-day weekday visit. I must say that it was indeed a worthwhile experience. Coming from Manila, we didn't really make any hotel reservation which lead us to walk-in at Alice in Wonderland Boracay. Their location is a 2 minute walk going to the beach front. I must say that their standard room is not standard at all. It exuded my expectation of what a standard room must be for a price that is very reasonable and affordable. We stayed at a cozy Room 208 located at the second floor of the building. The room has a veranda with a clean, earth-toned color curtain. It also has a Queen size bed, mini built in working desk, catv, small pantry, personal fridge, h/c shower, t&b plus a bath tub! :) The hotel also offers free reliable and fast internet connection. Your choices for breakfast includes bangusilog, tapsilog, tocilog (the best!), and many more. What's best is that you can also choose varieties of drink for breakfast. I was surprised that they have fresh milk as an option since I am not a coffee drinker and I have a 7 year old kid with me. Their lobby was well maintained and spacious and it's also equipped with cctv for security and safety. Their staff was courteous, friendly and hospitable. The owner is also there to supervise. We sure have loved our stay at their hotel and we will surely be back here sometime November. :)

** Walk in rates are usually much cheaper compared to online booking rate especially during weekdays. We got ours at Php 1500/night! :)

Resort type.. 3 mins away from the beach.. Located in station 2.. air-conditioned Cottage, our room has 2 double beds and a terrace equipped with personal hammock. The resort is kinda old but clean and quite it also has an outdoor pool.. Our cottage cost 1500/night.. If you're working on a budget and want a decent property.. I recommend this resort :)

I've stayed on this resort's ext located right next to la carmela. Considering that the room was small, it was also unkempt. There's beach sand on the bed and the balcony is muddy. It felt like it wasn't cleaned since the last occupant. I can't even sit on the toilet bowl because of some visible dirt. The location is ok, it's in front of the police station and the beach is just a walking distance. Room rate is cheaper than others but I wouldn't recommend it to my guests. Upon checking out, they didn't even bother to check and re-open the room so I bid goodluck to the next occupant.

They have two places and we stayed at the one further from the beach. The location is quite good as it is a bit away from the crowds and the noise, but still in the middle of station 2 and just a few minutes walk to the beach. The pool is nice. The room is adequate, but nothing special. The furniture is a bit old, but it seemed clean enough. We stayed in one of the bungalows in the back, which was good for privacy, but wi-fi didn't work there. Breakfast is not worth the money.

I forgot my mobile in the room when we were moving out. When I returned shortly after, the phone was gone and the staff denied finding it.
