What’s your unpopular opinion on Walking With?

I’ll go first, Cruel Sea is my least favourite episode

The Trex design isn’t that bad. It’s inaccurate but I still thinks it’s cool and visually appealing.

Walking with Beasts is better than WWD. (Not sure how unpopular that is).

Even though I’m deeply nostalgic for WWD, I agree that Walking with Beasts is just a step-up in every sense. Better storytelling, better cinematography, better music. Next of Kin alone is a staggering achievement. Such a beautiful episode.

Honestly as much as I love WWB the music alone in WWD puts it for me at least above anything else, and even though I think the storytelling in both is pretty much equal

Monsters > Beasts > Dinosaurs > Tarantino's entire catalogue

I cant point out the exact reason but i never liked the second ep of WWD. Its the worst one in series but still a descent one overall by itself

Yeah, I get that. Time of Titans is a staggering orchestral piece, but the rest of the episode just doesn't carry it.

Ironically it's the most iconic

That it was an inaccurate documentary even for its time, even if the presentation and format was extremely good. It was notorious for putting animals in the wrong time and place (Peteinosaurus, Anurognathus, and Utahraptor are great examples), for inaccurately depicting animals (Anurognathus, Liopleurodon, and Postosuchus being great examples), and for promoting clade-level displacement hypotheses such as that dinosaurs outcompeted pseudosuchians and synapsids, that birds outcompeted pterosaurs, or that mammals outcompeted non-avian dinosaurs.
