Good basic trades job

Typical day morning meeting , go through daily schedule. Lots of friends and family within the group I worked so felt more like an outsider . Was exposed to different work within the company on site but again . Great company for apprentices wanting to soak up knowledge and experience

Management is more about CYA

Beyond the site supervision there is a complete disconnect between staff and upper management/HR. The amount if disrespect is fascinating considering that it is the front line staff that pays the tab for management!

The shutdown felt like the mill was surprised that it was happening. Rather than being ready for it, the temp workers were just sitting for the first two days. There seemed to be little communication between the superintendent of Bison and the dispatch, who is a key player.
